Hello, any family activity in oahu? Besides luau? Kualoa ranch? I have a 7 years old boy and 7 yrs old daughter with celebral palsy. But i dont mind carrying her. Thank you soo mch.

We just got back a couple weeks ago from first time visit... Didn't bring our kids tho. ( All in college )

Dole Plantation. It has a train ride, maze, and garden you can walk thru. We thought train ride was fun ... Other 2 we wouldn't do again.

We used an app called gypsy guide. It was pretty good... I think it was around $15 for the island of oahu tour. The app uses GPS waypoints to play audio as you drive around the island... We saw a bunch of things we otherwise would not have found. ( Punchbowl crater, a bunch of scenic lookouts, some turtle beach, a temple, waterfall, a windy Lookout over Waikiki etc...)

We didn't do the Polynesian Cultural Center. There are posts about it. Some seem to love it some seem to hate it. Could be an option!

We wanted to do the ranch, but didn't make reservations before we left... So missed out. They have a bunch of tour options. Can't speak to any of them personally, but lots of posts on that too.

Have fun!

Pearl Harbor is a must I think it is important to teach kids about our history as a nation. Pearl Harbor is a very special place highly recommend it.
Can't believe I left this off! I agree with you. We actually went twice, cuz the Arizona memorial was closed when we got there but reopened a couple of days before we left.

My kids love PCC ... my youngest ones were 9 the first time we went.... Its also pretty accessible.
Dole (campy but good for a first trip)
Turtle Beach
PH (I think its a must for any group)
Waikiki (at least to see it)
You might consider a trolley tour too (we did one on one of our trips to get an overview) ... That might work well with your daughter's mobility issues. They're hop on / off if its going somewhere you really want to see.

The Makapuu Lighthouse trail is paved from start to end and could be a good option for your daughter. I've lived on Oahu my entire life and the views still take my breath away. On a clear day, you can see the neighbor islands and whales (seasonal). Makapuu is close to Hanauma Bay, Sea Life Park, and Waimanalo Beach. Waimanalo Beach is a great choice for kids who aren't strong beach swimmers because it's shallow and usually very calm.

We went to Oahu and Aulani in January 2020 and my sons were 7 and 9 at the time. We loved Kualoa Ranch. We did a tour that was half movie sites (which we don't really care about) and half cultural sites. We LOVED that tour. The drive out to Kuala Ranch was itself a fun drive (landscape is different than near Aulani). The tour was fantastic. Could easily do it with a child with cp. Almost all just riding in a big bus type vehicle, then get out twice for photos and to listen to a talk.

We hated Polynesian Cultural Center. Super overpriced, we had a hard time finding cultural demonstrations, we just walked around and were supposed to read stuff on plaques. It would have been more enjoyable for my husband and I, but the whole experience just went over my sons' heads.

We did the luau at Aulani and really enjoyed that. Pearl Harbor was a must-see too and it didn't disappoint. For some reason, my sons loved Pearl Harbor and were able to understand it much better than the PCC.

Your kids might get a kick out of seeing sea turtles on the beach. They are on Laniakea Beach (Turtle Beach) in North Shore. Its a very small beach and every time we visited, there were at least two turtles on shore. The parking is along the street, so look for cars parked along both sides of the road.

Also, there is a great snorkeling spot by Aulani, its called Lanikuhonua Beach (Paradise Cove Beach). It's a great little beach for adults/kids to snorkel or just relax. There are a lot fish to see and the rocks keep the waves away from the snorkelers. My kids were younger than seven years old when they first went snorkeling here. We always pack our snorkel gear when we travel to Hawaii. After you pass the Four Seasons hotel from Aulani, look for the dirt path from the Paradise Cove Luau parking lot, that path will lead you to the beach.

We were at Aulani this week and attended the stargazing activity at the resort. Not sure what the cost for kids is but it was $45/adult. It was overpriced (like many things at Aulani) but my husband and I both enjoyed it. We did have to look through the eyepiece on the telescope (there is a small ladder for children) quite a few times so not sure if that is doable for your daughter but I think you could lift her up to the eyepiece.
