Family 1st Disney Trip

The first time we went to WDW we stayed at CBR as well and thought it was great and the bus was only about 100' from our room. Love the hammocks down on the beach..so relaxing

Hey Welcome back
Okay, so you heard all about the room mishap, but that was really not a big deal to us because the rest of the trip was flawless. Okay, at this point my DD had asked about the Pool about 101 times, we were so tired but we vowed that this trip was going to be all about her.
Once we got to our room I had agreed to take my DD to the pool, my DW was also caught up in the excitement and was ready to go as well. So in a hurry we park the car, grab our bags and are off to see the room(I am like a little kid at this stage) Disney was like shrinking me into that 12 year old I use to be long ago. I said to my DW "we will get in the room change, go swim for a bit , eat and then goto bed promise"

So as we walk in the room( we had the pirate room at CBR, really cool) My DW says
"you guys change and we will head down" So I went in the bathroom and my DD went in the room with the curtain closed it and we both put on the trunks..... While I was changing in the bathroom I heard
"DAD GET MOMA!" ....I was confussed so I ran from the bathroom and saw this......

LOL...This was just real funny to me and I was cracking up when I came out of the bathroom...but in Kristi's defense she did muster enough strength to take our daughter swimming-after all it was a long day for us..Let me show you guys some pics of our awesome room...
This was a picture on the wall, we thought it was cool looking....

This is the chest,fridge,tv and table. The fridge was hid inside of a barrel

You guys already seen the beds.....
These pics do not show the excitement feel of the room it was our first trip and I was more busy looking than snapping pics, Now I know how helpful they are to others that are planning trips I will take more informative pictures next time. The Beds in the room were boats and comfy.
Okay so we went to the pool that night and let the DD play we did not even get in, once we got down there the sleepy was setting in on me as well..Here are some shots of My DD at the pool her first time in Disney......
Well wait another funny thing that I am not going to post pics of because there are to many is this( I will post 1)

I know your like WT Heck....well we took about 10 more photos like this and never could catch my DD coming down the slide
The main pool here had two slides a big one, and then a smaller one. this pic is the exit for the big one.
She was having so much fun, but it was getting dark and we were going to MK in the morning (OMG OMG) just saying that makes me want to go back right now...

This shot was the exit from the little slide, you can see alot of the pool. we went to the private pools the most less crowded(hint)

Oh yea this is a cool story Notice the little DG in this pic with my Daughter.

My DD just met her that night and they played for hours , they also talked when they seen each other in the shops and stuff around the resort.
To tell a cool Disney Story, we have a couple of them this trip, but I will tell you guys this one, When we got back from Disney my daughter was on one of her friends FB pages and seen a little girl and asked "dad does she not look like Jessica from Disney" I said it could be i guess still thinking there was no way she was in Florida playing with this girl and now she is a new student in her school, we never met her parents or even asked where she was from, come to find out it was her and she had just transferred to my daughters school, I just thought that was cool How they had met in Disney and end up in the same Class 800 Miles away...lol..Okay so after the sleepy swim we headed back to the room to get some sleep...cause the next day we had no idea what was in store for us... and don't forget in the next chapter I will tell you guys how Disney made us feel like we were the only ones on the property( well at least till we got to Magic Kingdom...)

WoW that is far, Yea I loved the Hammocks, and I sat in those beach chairs with my feet in the water, and then I had the vision of animal planet and quickly retreated to the hammocks...lol...Yea CBR is a great place we have some real cool first time storys, we met some real good friends there that I think if not for them our trip could had been much harder to take... 5 days is a short time in Disney for your first time to see everything....thanks for reading

They sure are they talk all the time in school, and she has been to the house once or twice, she is bringing best friend this time so this should be fun.....

You guys will love AKV. we stayed there as well for the last 4 days of our first trip and it was great looking out from your deck and seeing different animals out there. Every morning we got up and looked out there was a big giraffe looking right back at you.....It was great

I love that your daughter made a friend with someone that ended up needing a friend in a new town! How awesome is that? I read an article about a couple that the husband was actually in the background of the wife's childhood disney picture... it was crazy! Seems to make "Its a Small World" even MORE true sometimes, huh?

Oh yea, we undeniably fell head over heals for the Disney Magic, Then I dragged my mother in now she has it and my Brother is Next year...lol I have never been to a more amazing place in my life...And My Family Loves it to , a great place for us to bond...This year we are going in July and Christmas....good year for us....DVC helps with that...Where are you guys staying? I Hope you have as much fun as we did....ONM I see POP....we look at that resort all the time the theme is awesome......I have heard nothign but great things about POP....

Hope we feel the same! My family just roll their eyes when I talk about Disney - am hoping to change that one day
