Hey everyone! Hope you are having a great weekend!
Lisa, I thought I posted my DL miles on here but I don't see it. Maybe I'm just blind or maybe I'm just going crazy.
Disneyland was a lot of fun. THe medals are awesome - especially, the coast-to-coast. I'm lucky to have been able to go. However, I'm not sure I'll be doing it again anytime soon. The course itself wasn't bad but there were a lot of bottlenecks. Not good if you're going for a PR (which I wasn't). I'm slow so it didn't bother me. Running through both parks was fun. Since this race took place during Labor Day weekend, the parks were ultra crowded (as expected). There was so much that I didn't get to see and do. And, it was hot and humid. I'm not sure why Disney chose this weekend. The inaugural half took place mid to late Sept. if I recall correctly. It seems like that would be a much better time. However, maybe the timing has something to do with tying up traffic during regular weekends. I don't know.

All in all, it was a good weekend, just a little too crowded for my taste.
Lisa - I admire the fact that you are getting in 25-30 miles per week. I wish I could do that. I just need to build up to it, I guess. I'm too lazy right now.

You go, girl!
Mike - are you training for a full?
Kim - congrats on your 10K time. You are doing really well!!!! I sure wish we had a TNT chapter in Arkansas. I'd love to join the team.
Maura - sending you some

for a speedy recovery. Will you be going to physical therapy?
Beth - even after taking some time off, you're still speedy!
groovygirls - good luck with your 13 miles. I'm just glad I don't have to do it. My time is coming, though.
Suzanne - keep up the good work! You're really coming along well.
