Fall/winter Discounts

Just wondering what everyone's best guesses are for when the discounts might be released. I have looked at mouse savers page and it looks like over the past few years it has varied from anytime now to late Aug. This OCD planner is hoping for sooner rather then later.. TIA!

Impossible to predict at this point. Last year they released AP in Aug but GP didn't come until Oct. but this last round of discounts released GP first and then deeper, but more limited AP discounts later.

I wouldn't expect anything before August but after that, who knows. There don't appear to be any rumors floating yet. So probably at least a few weeks.

Us too. The other question is whether AoA will be included in the discounts. Probably not, but I'm hoping it will.

If it isn't, I'm debating about staying elsewhere.. if the discount is significant enough.

I am also impatiently waiting! We have an Oct long weekend booked at BC that I will not keep unless it is discounted. Fingers crossed for a good AP or resident rate!

There was speculation about the 14th because that's when the current discount expires. But CMs are consistently saying that they haven't heard *anything*.
Based on that, I wouldn't expect anything until the end of Aug or beginning of Sept at the earliest.

Funny, I was talking to a CM yesterday and was told that the "new" discounts for Room-Only(Oct,Nov&Dec) would be out online Aug 15,2012. Here's to hoping .

Well that's promising. Thanks for sharing. CMs are frequently wrong in their dates, of course, but the complete lack of any rumors at all has been disturbing.

I'm still not sure I believe it but I'll certainly be checking on the 15th. Cross your fingers.

I wonder if there won't be discounts because of of all the new developments including Cars land. This property has been aching to turn big profits and finally they can ask a premium for it.

Two falls ago, we stayed at grand Californian for $200 a night. Now your in the mid $400's to grab a room there... And that's down since may.
