Target did have a few things, but it was pretty picked over, and most of it was Halloween. I didn't try Joann's. I used to just go to Hobby Lobby, which I loved! There isn't one close to me anymore, though. I'm sure I'll find some cute things. I just need to keep shopping!

Well, shopping is fun

My sister just received her box from Nancy. She says thank you soooo much! It was fun watching her opening it. Her eyes were huge when she saw the Lindt truffles.
She also received fall leaves, fall dish clothes and towel, Thanksgiving cookie cutters, cupcake holders, a pumpkin candle, some lotion, gourd salt and pepper shakers, Thanksgiving table runner, and so many extras

I am out now looking and WOW. The lack of fall/thanksgiving stuff is amazing. I am at my 3rd store. My person will be getting a hodgepodge of stuff. I hope happens to go with a theme but that is not going to happen

Hope Belle is well now. That is scary that she ate all that.

Belle is fine, now, thank you! The great thing was that she ate the candies whole! When they got her to upchuck, they came out still wrapped!!!! That was a blessing.

So, now, I'm back to going to shop for some fall/Thanksgiving things. She got into everything. Our grocery store, Krogers seems to have fall things as well as Halloween things.

I shopped again and mailed again! I don't want to tempt Belle with stuff laying around! The Krogers did have some nice Thanksgiving things.

Yes. Belle is confined to our kitchen area by baby gates. Last Tuesday, I did my shopping, couldn't find a box, put things in dining room & went to work on Wednesday. The dining room faces west, and in the PM, it probably was warm, I imagine she smelled the chocolate treats. She went into the dining room, by pushing on the tension gate, & preceded to bring the things I bought into her crate. She ate 12 oz. of Hershey Miniatures ( a favorite of mine). Chocolate is poisonous to dogs, I came home & realized the torn bag was still sort of damp, I called the vet. They kept her and induced vomiting. There were five piles of still wrapped Hershey Miniatures when she was through.

The bag of chocolate wouldn't have killed her, it wasn't enough, but the fact that she didn't even chew them meant very little got into her system.

Today I went shopping again, & mailed right away!
