Postal woman does not come door to door here, the development is to big. We have cluster boxes at either entrance to the development.

They will still pick them up....you just have to designate a place when you order it.
But if you leave it laying, you need to feel it is safe.
My mailbox is about 1/3 mile from the house and that's where I leave them.
