Fall Promotion to be released...

I'm wondering if free dining will be kids only like itis for the summer for DV. That doesn't help me at all when DS turned 10 last week. He is the baby.

I think he Fall offer will be different than the summer. Different business needs. Just the the gen. pop. offers are different for summer and fall.

I just went onto the Chase Disney Visa site and got a message that it was down for maintenance. Maybe something is coming soon!

Unfortunately that's been planned for awhile with Chase. I'm always checking my account online, so I've seen a message that the site would be down for maintenance today. :thumbsup2

I hope your right! Boy! Won't we all be fussy when the recession is over (hooray!) and the WDW offers dwindle (boo!). I think I pick for the recession to be over anyway!

I had a room only booked for GF in July with the summer code and decided to change it last night for a package at BWI with the dining plan. It would probably be cheaper if we just paid oop for our meals instead, but I love just walking into a ts restaurant and ordering without looking at the price. lol

Yes, I needed to get my statement for my mortgage interest last night and was unable to do so online...I guess I won't be able to get it today either.

I was looking at the historical information for past discounts at http://www.mousesavers.com/historicalwdwdiscounts.html#2009

If I read my calendar right, it looks like the Disney Visa offer was released on a Monday in 2008 & 2009, with the free dining promotion being released to the general public the following Thursday.

That is correct! As far as I know, Disney has never, nor is likely to ever release a deal over a weeknd! Almost always on a Monday or a Thursday! :)

That isn't entirely true they have done it on a Saturday before back in 2006...I think it was that year anyway...but the last few years they have done it on Mondays or Thursdays for DV holders. I am going to say Monday we will probably see some deal or something.

Not true. In 2006, free dining became available on April 1st to Disney Visa cardholders. That was a Saturday. Now I haven't gone through every last discount on the mousesavers site to see what other things have become available over the weekends, but I know Disney HAS released a deal over a weekend and the link itself shows that.

Yes i would think it would come out on Monday or after anyway, never the exact next day of an offer ending.

It will be interesting to see what tomorrow brings. I read that the cruise lines were actually starting to raise prices again.
I would love to get a peek at the WDW occupancy rates for the fall.
With so many people making "pre" reservations so they can get the ADRs - it may not look so bad.
(I know this has all been said before) Just typing to fill the time while I do laundry and wait for the rates. :laundy:

so what is everyone thinking they might offer.... we are going in May (passhold reate), then rented points for August from a DVC member... and looking to go in October and visit our daughter who will be there on the college program...

I think Disney has their promos thought about a year prior...unless bookings are low and that is when they have to resort to extending the offers...like last year.

They have really cut back on their offers but have pretty much kept the usual %off rooms like normal, but they have given more time to book the promos this year than they normally do.

I do think they will offer free dining since they offered their usual room discounts...only time will tell though:surfweb:
