How is it released to Disney Visa holders first??? I just got my card in the mail..Do they send something to your e-mail??

I tried to explain to my DH that I WASN"T crazy..... there are other people out there with the same Disney obsession, now I have proof!! I can make our ADR's on Monday and don't know what I will do for the next 6 months before we can go.

I subscribed to Tourguide Mike. There's plenty of planning that can be done. Oh yes, plenty. Bwahahaha My husband mocks me for my detailed laminated touring plans (as in detailed list of which activity is done in what order for each day of our trip). TGM really is a Disney Obsessed person's heaven.

Everyone just follows behind me. People say you can't enjoy yourself if you plan everything. Well, I schedule "fun time" too. I always have an amazing time so there you "can't pan everything nah sayers"

DH commented to me several times that one of the things he enjoyed most about our most recent trip (our first one with me planning using TGM) was that it was so laid back with all sorts of time to look around at little things besides just the rides and shows (like wandering Discovery Island at AK, something we never took time to do in the past because we were rushing from place to place). I laughed because I had scheduled all of these laid back moments in order to make them possible.

It's a service that you subscribe to. If you to the Theme Park board here on the DIS, TGM is a sponsor and there will be a banner to click and you'll get a $3 discount on the subscription. That brings it under $20 and makes a HUGE difference your vacation even if the only thing you use is his Least Crowded Parks chart (he tells you by day which parks will have the least crowds and why). His chart of which rides are best to ride at which time of day in order to avoid lines is also super valuable. I went over Christmas last year and I was shocked that I almost never experienced crowds or lines longer than 10 minutes even at one of the busiest times of year.

Technically DV cardholders are supposed to get email about the FD package, but my experience last year was the DIS Boards, AllEars, etc. had all the details about the DV booking code first, and my email showed up hours and hours later. I was booked last year before the email even arrived.

The Disney Visa web site (http://disneyrewards.disney.go.com/offers.html) should have the info, too. But reading the boards will be your best bet.

If you go to the Disny Visa Card website, you can track down the Disney offers there. It's under - payment and transfers. There is also a direct website that takes you to this page, I'm sure someone will post it when they see your thread.

Hi guys,

I had a DV years ago and cancelled it as we have not been to WDW since 2005, but I reapplied today and was approved. It states that I can use it immediately if I book online since I applied via the WDW website. Would I still be able to get the DV discount if it comes out within the next several days, since I am not getting their emails yet?

I noticed that DV has a kids eat, play, and stay free deal going on right now. I dont know when it started because I only check for new offers every couple of weeks, but I am really hoping that is not the deal that stays when its supposed to be free dining. I am planning on going in December, and hoping that the fall offer is extended through early December! I just hope that is not the offer since I have no kids so it wouldn't benefit me at all.

Me too, that deal isn't all that or even close. DH and I have AP's AND our kids won't be with us in September (its our yearly alone trip) so that would be a total bust for us. We wants the free dining (in the chanting spirit of POTC's "We wants the redhead")

It wouldn't surprise me if they extend book by dates for current promotions as that has happened in the past with other promotions, but I doubt that will be the only thing released.

This waiting is killing me and I really hope it is something better than the percent off discount. I already have that through a pin code. It only saved me $138 for a 9 night stay at PoFQ. I would save much more with free dining. And no kids eat and play for free either. My kids are technically adults by Disney standards. I feel like I have been waiting forever for this promotion, whatever it may end up being. I hope it is good, but if not at least I will know to move on with my planning.

I just logged on to my Chase account online and there is a notice that the website will be closed March 28th at Midnight till 9:15am ET. I don't know if it means anything, but i found that interesting. I doubt they would release a new deal on sunday if that is the case.
