Fall Incentives

Has DVD ever offered incentives for contracts for less than 150 points? I was really hoping that would the case with RIV, but based on @Zach197 's comments, I am losing that hope.

We took MB to get the discount buy in. In hindsight I wish we had banked the points. Oh well, just means time to buy another contract.
We banked the points instead of selling them back and are now potentially planning a second trip, which means a second round of paying for airfare for the whole family. You probably did the right thing!! 😂

The current promotion has $750 discount on 100 VGF and $1500 off 125 pts. Once you hit that 150 mark is when they start loading up, but there have been decent discounts still below 150 pts.

Thanks. I didn't realize that they started at 100 points. Still hoping for an incentive at 50, though. Probably a pipe dream.

Yeah, seems unlikely, but never know!

I'm wanting another 100 pts some day and probably going resale since we've got blue card covered, *but* something I've considered that you might do is buying the 150 mark, splitting the contracts up, and then selling off down to what you wanted to keep. Definitely more work, but you get the higher quantity pricing and only keep the # you really wanted.

For undeclared inventory, those belong to DVD and thus don’t have dues associated with them. Per se.

Once declared, then rooms are part of the association and open to all owners, DVD doesn’t pay operating costs on those points but covers the shortfall, if there is one,

As long as they are not declared, then DVD does get to rent them for cash whenever they want without any rules, which is another reason why selling BPK faster may have been the goal,

They declared all rooms within two months of sales, so no chance too rent for cash expect by following the rules of the rest of us.
Hi there. I’m still getting used to all the acronyms people use here! What is ‘BPK’?
