Fall free dining offer!

The offer for September free dining was already released. Someone correct me when I'm wrong, but I believe it's any check-in date in Sept. We're going the 15-23rd and we have it!

For the GP Free Dining Promo that just ended, the last check-in day was September 29.

I was reading a similar thread to this in the discounts forum here on the DIS boards, and somebody there mentioned that after calling and not having a pin that the CM that they spoke to said to look for a general public free dining offer come mid-June for October... Please don't quote me on this, like I said, this is hear-say. I would quote that poster if I could figure out how to do a quote from another thread and post it here. I'm sorry!! Keep you fingers crossed!!

No free dining for me. But I did have a 20% discount on room only reservations. I'll pass and hope free dining comes out for the general public in the near future.

I had a pin code earlier in the spring for 34% (the CM said) off room rate. We opted to book for the POP, Dec. 9 - 14. If the offer goes public then I need to figure out if it's cheaper to keep our current pin, or switch to FD & upgrade to the regular dining.

Any takers? I'm awful at math.

ETA: If we're checking in on Dec 9 would that knock us out of the FD anyway?

In the e-mail it stated a non-discounted 4 night/5 day Magic Your Way stay BUT I was able to adjust to a 4 day Park Hopper instead of the 5 day base ticket for 3 adults as we are running the half marathon on check in day and didn't want to go to a park beforehand.

Well, I've never made the call before to see if I had a PIN, but I just did and got good news! The CM was kinda funny - he said, "Well, it looks like I'm not going to be able to tell you that you don't have a free dining PIN." Our dates are November 14-18.

For those of you who called instead of receiving the PIN in your email/snail mail, did they actually give you the numbers/letters of the code or did they just add it to your existing reservation? My CM did not tell me what the actual code was, he just applied it.

Well Dis fans, I have a somewhat exciting update for those who did not get a pin code!

I requested a DVD for my brother via my email and never got a pin..(he did more than 3 times..but me..never..the irony!). Anyway, I called and explained that he got the email but not me, and there was no pin attached. I was told I could get the pin on my own reservation!!!! They were very nice about it and I didn't have to beg or anything

I think that perhaps this deal is going to go public soon...just my feeling

So If I change my dates from Dec 1st check in to November 29th. I could get Free Dining?

I haven't got a Pin Code but I'm going to book this weekend, So maybe I'll get lucky and recieve one then!!!

December 9 is blacked out. I know you can get free dining for your entire stay if you check in before Pop Warner starts (11/29). But I don't how it works towards the end of it like in your case

For a 12/9 check-in, you'd have to do a room only reservation with your package starting on the 10th and it would work.

when i called i mentioned that others got the email with the PIN but they didnt offer it to me.

the CM on the phone told me if that i dont get a pin before my trip and they dont offer free dining before my trip that i would still have the 10% room rate and could use it whenever i wanted (well before the end of the year when it expires)

Yes, for your entire stay. That's the day we are checking in to CBR. We haven't received the pin code either so we're waiting for it to become available to the general public.

FYI, we have current reservations for the Wilderness arriving Nov 9. Called and asked if we have a PIN, she said no, but could offer me free dining!! I saved a ton as we have 3 rooms! Thanks everyone! BTW, November 8 is blacked out. She said the free dining begins October 19.

Ok, now I'm a bit jealous (just kidding). We don't have a pin either this time and the CM didn't even offer the FD when I called. Could be b/c we're going through a TA this time. Ah well. What can you do?

I really think it has to do with whomever you talk to at Disney. I would talk to your TA and see what strings they can pull. Although it may be different rules for them you never know. I would also consider calling yourself and seeing what if anything they can do. If they do offer it..book it with them and cancel the trip with the TA? Just an idea

Our check-in date in 11/27, so I am hoping to get the FD when it goes public anyway. We booked our trip with our TA, so if I called Disney and had a PIN number with my name, could I even add FD to my reservation? I'm guessing no.
