Fall foliage in the parks?

I know there are tons of fall decorations in the parks come September (pumpkins, Halloween stuff), but is there any specific foliage color to speak of? I know there is not much of an autumn season in Orlando. My favorite thing about fall is the turning leaves, and I would love some pictures with orange and scarlet trees/leaves, even if it's just fake foliage. They would make for great pictures. I just don't remember seeing any of that the last time we were there in the fall. I'm sure I must be wrong. Although, I have heard rumors that there is occasionally some fall color once winter hits. We've been there in winter, and I don't remember it then either. To be honest, the lack of autumn is one of the main reasons we have not moved to Florida.

The only red, orange and yellow foliage you're going to find in Florida will be artificial. You'll see them mixed in with the other decorations in MK.

I disagree,if you drive around Florida in winter you will see trees that will change colors,very few places in South Florida but around Disney and all around Central Florida and North Florida you will see some fall colors on some trees,obviously nothing like up north but there is a change,the colder the winter the more the leaves turn.

Yeah, September is still pretty much summer in Florida. The year we did a late September trip I actually hated leaving home just as there was a cool feeling in the air again. I got over it though.

September is very much summer in Florida,you'll still be at 85-93 degrees most days with plenty of rain,autumn doesn't arrive until mid October and those changing leaves on the trees I mentioned won't begin until probably mid December.And of course those changes in the color of the trees are nothing like up north but you will see a change.

We've been there in winter, and I don't remember it then either. To be honest, the lack of autumn is one of the main reasons we have not moved to Florida.

A lot of the vegetation stays green year-round -- pines, palms, palmettos and the like.

WDW puts on some orange and yellow for Halloween season, though -- personally, I think DLR does a much better job of it.

We went last October - Columbus Day weekend. It was very much still summer! In the 90's all weekend. The only fall colors were the fake decorations.

The first cool front won't come through until at least mid October which is why I consider the start of our short Autumn Oct. 15th,those early cool fronts might bring the low temps to around 60-65 with highs in the 70's.With that said it could be 90+ anytime through October and 80+ anytime all winter,the amount of cold fronts coming through are pretty much what determines if we get cold.Some years it feels like we spend the entirety of one of our cold months(Dec,Jan and Feb) in the 80's,other years we get continuous cold fronts coming through and we have tons of days with lows in the 30's and 40's and highs in the 50's and 60's,Basically there's no guarantee of cold weather even in Winter but even when it's warm its a lot more comfortable since the humidity is lower than the rest of the year.

We'll be there in early October, so guess we'll miss any changing leaves but it's an excuse to come back in November. (Love the weather then). In TN we definitely have a fall, but not quite as grand as further north in the color department. The lack of heaps of snow makes up for it though. I grew up in Ohio where it snowed from early fall to late spring.

A few years ago my family went to Disney in Oct and we were in the high 80's the whole trip. I lived up in Jacksonville for 3 years and we really didn't get "cold" till Jan/Feb. I remember being christmas night in jeans, tee and flip flops.
