Fall colors? when?

When do the trees start to change colors?? I'm used to them being peak color around the last week in September, but I live in Ohio. It occured to me that Florida is a MUCH different climate and mostlikely has a different autumn pattern.

Can anyone shed any light on this for me?

I don't think the leaves change colors...that's why all us Florida folk go north to see the leaves change...But I could be wrong

Actually, they do change colors from green in the summer to brown in the winter... The first time I got a chance to see the miracle of autumn colors was on a Disney trip to Cincinnati in October. I had never seen such colors. I was 23 at the time. The first time I saw snow I was 27.
