I heard it from your father's brother's nephew's cousin's former roommate that they will announce the 2026 Fall schedule before the Fall of 2026.
I wonder if the cruise lines are watching the overall trends in travel right now and are preparing to respond to the ongoing drops in travel to the US from other countries. I imagine any effect wouldn't be immediate since cruises are often booked months or even years out but where I live I'm hearing a lot of people saying they'd rather travel to other countries right now.
As a Canadian I felt comfortable cruising from the US in 2024, but I was very glad that we had booked our 2025 trip to Europe. We had planned to book a Disney cruise in 2026, but I deliberately booked an itinerary that departed from a non American port. I would like to do a Caribbean cruise in the next few years, but I will likely use a cruise line that has departures from Guadaloupe or Martinique (French territories that have direct flights from Europe and Montreal) rather than Florida.
I'm not sure what percentage of DCL cruisers are from outside the US, but I've heard so many stories of people cancelling trips and looking at other destinations that I have to wonder if these trends will have an effect on the cruise industry's plans going forward.
I'm with you...we will get this to 50 pages. Please DCL...just push the button and announce the itineraries. Don't you want our money $$$Join me won't you... It won't be this week, it won't be this week, it won't be this week. Let's get this to 50 pages![]()
The Fantasy and the Wish are almost the same size. The Wish is not a mega ship like Oasis of the Seas. If it is the Fantasy I’m glad they are mixing it up instead of having the Dream come every year.Last week on Fantasy, a cast member told me, that they expect Fantasy to come back to Europe in 2027.
But also reading the speculations about Wish made me wonder... could we have two ships in Europe in 2027? Wish doing Mediterranean cruises and Fantasy doing Northern (I'm thinking size vs Norwegian Fjords and smaller Northern ports).
I like this idea also. We usually sail to Europe with DCL twice a year, and two different ships would make it even more Magical!!!The Fantasy and the Wish are almost the same size. However I would love to see them try two ships in Europe so I’m all for this plan.
I would love two ships in Europe. Mostly because I wish DCL would do the Greek isle itineraries in July instead of June. We are still in school in June so it never is able to work out for usThe Fantasy and the Wish are almost the same size. The Wish is not a mega ship like Oasis of the Seas. On the Canadian thread. The webmaster stated "that thread" is the only place where ""how the current environment effects travel to WDW and Disneyland can be discussed". I'm not quite sure what he means by "current environment", but I can take a good guess. Unless I'm reading it wrong I interpreted it to mean that Canadians can only discuss it on that thread.Keep in mind I said as long as it respectful and doesn't devolve into arguing, political or otherwise and should be fine.
I can always be overruled by webmasters as well such as the special rules around Covid.
Hmmm....could DCL possibly sail the Magic in Florida?Assuming that Wish #4 maiden in early July 27, which seems like it could happen, can the Florida port agreements be fulfilled if two ships are in Europe? Especially if they both go over in May?
Florida would have what- Dream, Destiny, Treasure? And then the 4th ship in July?
Magic will likely be back in Alaska again. I doubt they are spending the money to winterize her for a single Alaska seasonHmmm....could DCL possibly sail the Magic in Florida?
Greece is beautiful. We sailed this itinerary twice and both times on the Magic. I would love it if they moved the Greek itineraries to July.I would love two ships in Europe. It’s so hot in July. I wish they would bring back Iceland and Baltics in July.Greece is beautiful. We sailed this itinerary twice and both times on the Magic. I would love it if they moved the Greek itineraries to July.
Um i just did a greek cruise on dcl in july. It started june 31st and finished july 12th. Weather was glorious.
June 31st? Did you mean June 30th?Um i just did a greek cruise on dcl in july. It started june 31st and finished july 12th. Weather was glorious.
It didn’t start on June 31st.
Our last cruise to Greece was the 12 Might Med with Greece sailing on July 6, and we had beautiful weather also. It was hot, but I like the hot weather, and we stayed well hydrated. It didn’t start on June 31st.
You end late. My last Greek cruise was in May and weather was perfect. It was toasty in Rome and that was early May. I’m sure the weather on the ship will be great. It’s on land that’s sweltering.June 31st? Did you mean June 30th?
The 2026 cruise starts June 24th. We end school here the last week of June so there is no way that would work for us.
I'm also hoping they bring back Iceland. We sailed the Northern European Capitals with DCL and it was fabulous. It’s so hot in July. I wish they would bring back Iceland and Baltics in July.
Their July cruises are weak so I feel for you.
