Fall 2026 itineraries

Over on cruise critic NCL cruisers are not happy with NCL. They seem to changing itineraries, cancelling ports, and such after PIF date. Even skipping ports after cruise starts.

One cruiser had two ports in Vietnam cancelled for no apparent reason. They have the best itineraries of any cruise line, but aren't dependable. I had booked an Asia cruise with them and they changed some ports I ended up cancelling and just doing a land trip. I would do some research before booking with them or just plan on booking after PIF date.

Because our seasons are opposite it would make it difficult for families, yet ABD is in South America during our Summer their Winter. In some countries like Peru their Winter is prime tourist season because it's the dry season and not so hot. ABD is also in Australia in our Summer and their Winter.
That's what happens when you post your itineraries too far in advance ;)

Cancelling ports and changing itineraries after PIF date seems a little shady to me. It has nothing to do with putting them out there early.
Seems that for NCL the reason that has been offered up a number of time is "fuel efficiency"... 100% that seems shady. If it's truly just fuel cost, I'd rather see them tack on a fuel surcharge before the PIF. (but I'd want to hear from the industry it's a real issue - I thought fuel cost were more stable, but I don't buy whatever their ships are burring)

But I can tell you my own personal budget is way up from two years ago.... I don't think expected the middle of 2025 to be here.

I'm just waiting on the Tariffs on foreign flagged ships...

That's central America not South America. A lot of Americans flying to Singapore for 4 day cruises? I've heard a few people mention it on here, but I doubt Americans are what's filling the ship over there.
I'd say yes, at least a moderate number. It seems many are treating the Adventure as PART of the their holiday, rather then the whole holiday.

In the Disney Adventure FB group (or one of them, there is probably multiple) the other day, someone put up a poll asking who was booked/planning a B2B vs a Single cruise.

40% said B2B

The comments from many of the people regardless of their vote shows people also planning to do a park add on or further exploration of the country.

Obviously the group isnt just Americans (i dont think there has been a poll or anything to show regional breakdown of members), however Americans also aren't the only ones who would have a long flight times.

The draw of a new and completely unique ship is also quiet strong.

I highly doubt there is alot of people going just for a 3 or 4 night cruise, but quite a decent number making the most of the time and money they have to spend travelling. When we get the chance to go, we will likely do a park and something exploring before a B2B.

Yeah, there's plenty to do in Singapore to make a trip out of it. Spend a week exploring the city, maybe visit Universal Studios Singapore, then do a week of B2B cruises so that you can experience both sets of restaurants. That's not a bad trip!

The flight is so long, though. So, so long.

Singapore is not on my bucket list. It would take one of those 2 week cruises all over Asia to get me to go there. I'm not a fan of big ships either. I honestly think I'd hate the ship.

They should know if it's an issue before selling the cruises. Imagine booking a once in lifetime cruise around Asia and having ports cancelled due to fuel efficiency. I'd be livid.
I read one poster say they cancelled Corfu and added a sea day at the last minute. They are going to lose customers doing that. It's a shame because the itineraries they lure people to book are very good.

They cancelled Corfu and added a sea day for us LAST summer because of "fuel efficiency".

I've only taken one NCL cruise and it was to the Caribbean. They sail there all the time, so they should know what's possible and what isn't. About 14 months before sailing, they changed 3/6 of our ports and offered absolutely nothing in compensation. And then, the night before debarking, they modified our debarking schedule so that we'd be able to get off the ship at about 1pm instead of the expected 8am. Why? To save the whales!

NCL is the worst.

I was suggesting more Americans would prefer sailing from FL and find Central America and a partial transit of the Panama Canal sufficiently novel, not trying to imply it was a South American itinerary, I apologize is that was confusing.
It would be Disney's prices so maybe 4200 pp for inside.... Like most all the other lines, limited supply is the only way they could do this. But I only see South America being an adult type of itinerary, not something parents would be looking to do.
We did Buenos Aires to Santiago with Celebrity when our kids were 2 and 4, it was excellent and we had some fun port adventures with calm but beautiful sea days to break up the hiking and wildlife watching. It’s a great itinerary for young families, but hard to do with school aged kids.

There is a thread here too. Similar situation where many of us are planning to pair it with one or more Disney parks and/or exploring other parts of Asia. We had planned to visit Australia during the maiden season and will tack on a short cruise, a few days in Singapore (one of the best cities in the world by most metrics), and a quick stop at at least one Asian park, because my children were so excited to try the Adventure (and I want to see Fantasy Springs).
