We got our MNSSHP tickets Saturday and I was so excited. I just left them laying on the counter so I would get happy every time I would walk past. Double digits tomorrow!

I wonder if they are phasing the magnets out? Or is it for certain hotel levels? Cost cutting measure? We still have the old luggage tags with the castle that are so nice. The new ones are pretty flimsy. My vacation price goes up while some perks go down. Such as life!

Maybe. We're staying a moderate for 5 nights with free dining... but no magnet. Maybe the magnets are only for deluxe?

And the shirt collecting has begun...found some toddler sized BB8 shirts online at Kohls, they came today. My 2yo is so happy! I stashed one for Disney and let him have the other. He's been hugging himself all day haha.

The first vacation I scheduled was for CBR without free dining and no magnet. Decided to change dates for free dining and still at CBR. Maybe it is a deluxe things?

We are staying at a MOD (POR) and got one. I am starting to think it's like UOC and we will never know why some people get them and others don't.

I'm really excited about the Candlelight Processional! I may have said this before (?), but the tradition started at Disneyland! I grew up in Northern CA, and my Disney obsession started young. By the time we moved from CA, I'd been to Disneyland about 40 times, but never near Christmas. I'm really excited to see this!

Schell, I hope you get to have a Christmas trip soon!!!!

It's so weird because sometimes we get them, sometimes not. We went with my parents last year, booked 8 months out, and they got one, we didn't. the year before, I got one for my first trip, changed resorts and got another a week later. Some people hav got flash drives, reminder magnets, etc and I've never got any of that.

I remember when they sent the flash drives out. I only heard a few people say they got one. Then people were trying to sell them on eBay.

We received an incredible booklet too, about a month after booking. We basically threw it away because by then it was out of date, since we had then booked FD and switched everything around and the book was for our original plans. It was cute, though, and it's ALWAYS nice to get Mickey Mail!

You threw it away! Lol.

I never knew it started in Disneyland, thank-you for sharing that! I have never been to Disneyland only Disney World. My husband has been to Disneyland and my cousin lives in Las Vegas and takes her kids to DL. That must have been really fun growing up so close to DL!!! I think CP will be a magical start to your Christmas Holidays!!!

Sounds like maybe a trip to Disneyland in your future.?

We also received our customized Incredibles booklet in the mail. It has a neat Dumbo reminder magnet on the last page that you can stick on your fridge and it has reminders like when to book your ADR's and FP+.

I didn't have the heart to tear Dumbo out of the book last year. Guess Disney knew because this year no magnet.

We were originally booked at AKL Villas with no free dining and we got a magnet. Switched to ASSports with free dining and no magnet. Recently switched to Caribbean Beach with free dining so we will see.

Wonder if they have a batch of ones with magnets and it just depends on where it is printed from. Sounds random. So sad.
Does anyone remember how far out luggage tags come. I will need more then the 1 they send and am wondering how far in advance I should call to get more.

I received a the booklet and magnet last year staying at a moderate. This year we are staying at a delux and recieved the booklet but no magnet. I think the magnet is just luck of the draw.

Yay for double digits! I still haven't ordered my tickets for the party, but I've already started to get costumes and decor together.

I think they come with the paperwork you receive about 30 days out from your trip.

Same for use, and also dinosaur. This will most likely be the only time we get to go to wdw, would have loved to ride on both of them.
