When I was here the third week of September two years ago, it rained fairly significantly every day. So I packed my umbrella, nice poncho, AND a $1 poncho for this trip. On this trip I have seen a grand total of four minutes of drizzle. I've started carrying only the cheap poncho because it is the smallest/lightest of my rain protection. I can always grab the other one if I need it but I haven't so far.
One thing to remember about the forecast is that it covers the entire metropolitan area, and in Orlando it's perfectly normal to have a storm in one area and sunny skies a mile away. So don't be too worried. If you carry a poncho you will be fine.
Made my FP+ today, breathed a huge sigh of relief when I clicked confirm on FEA. got all the headliners for the days I wanted. times are not perfect, could not get like: 10:30, 11:30, 12:30... more like 10:55, 12:15, etc. not sure it this will work to get 4th+ FPs but at least got the attractions I wanted. our MK day is predicted to be a 2 so hoping we can do a lot that day and will continue to try to tweak things.
had to leave at 7:30 to get to work and did not have time to change the FP+ for those of us that won't be doing some attractions like Space.

I used acrylic paint because that's what I am most comfortable with. It washes off with water so mistakes are easily fixed and it is thin enough to make the tiny lines. The brushes were just a pack of small ones for like $2.99 at Hobby Lobby. Once I had them the way I liked them, I coated them with 2 coats of spray on acrylic sealant. My DHs band has some minor cracking around one of the holes on the dark part of the band but nothing so far on the colored areas. The spray is water resistant but I still don't think they will wear them in the pool, but it should be good everywhere else, fingers crossed!!
Congratulations on getting everything you wanted! I make mine Thursday morning and I can't wait to just have it done and cross it off my list. FEA is the one that makes me the most nervous. We do have a PPO breakfast at Akershus but I would really rather not rush through it because my DD is looking forward to the Princess parade. I made that FP+ for the 7th day of our trip and there were plenty of options, we got late AM. FD starts up again on the 15th so hopefully that gives us an advantage, we can book FP+ before the FD folks.

we have a PPO for BOG to try and ride 7DMT early but made FP+ too just in case they change the park hours and BOG is no longer PPO.
Thank-you that's what I was hoping for! I had no problem with ADR's because we check in before FD starts so I am hoping FP+ is the same. I hope they update park hours soon so we can just relax and not have to worry about if PPO breakfast will actually stay PPO breakfast. We had PPO BOG last year and loved it! We ordered 2 adult entree's and with the pastry tray it was enough for myself , DH and our 3 kiddos. We rode 7DMT twice and PP once before the RD crowd. That's a great idea having a backup 7DMT FP+ if they keep the hours the same you have a bonus!

I know I was nervous when I was making mine too.When I first made mine, I also had a lot of weird times. I was eventually able to move them to the usual 11:30, 12:30, 1:30 type times by going in and adjusting them. It took maybe 2 weeks to get them all the way I wanted. So if you want, just keep looking and shifting them to the times you want. I found that when searching the times, it helps to do some clicking on the sorting selection of Morning, afternoon. I had the most luck editing them by searching by a specific time. I have a feeling they are all there, but the system just doesn't show ALL of them. Frustrating!

I don't risk losing the one I have? I texted my sister at 7:04AM to tell her I got it and even she understood how important this FP+ was to 3 of our daughters.

I don't think so, to be sure I probably wouldn't do it on the frozen one. I didn't mess with that one of ours either. Truthfully, the FEA probably wouldn't have many (if any) times to adjust it to.
I never had any problems with the others. But yeah, the frozen ride is a hot ticket. Glad you got one!!!!

We leave Sunday too and we are getting our haircuts tomorrow.
Well, first day and it rained like you wouldn't believe, I have never felt so cold. Why does Disney insist on cooling all inside areas so much, not great when you are waterlogged. We did end up buying the Disney ponchos which were a bit of a savoir as they are a much better quality than the cheap $2.00 shop ones. Hoping for a better day tomorrow.

My girls aren't even Frozen fans anymore, but youngest really wanted to ride FEA. If only I hadn't shown her that youtube video.

Nope, you don't risk losing or changing your FP unless you hit CONFIRM. I was hesitant too but I was 3 hrs away from home after a bachelorette party on our FP day so DH had to do them. Needless to say, I wasn't satisfied with some of his time choices so I modified them. You can modify any of them, which is the only way to see other available times if you already have your 3 booked for that day. As long as you stay far away from confirm then you'll be fine. We needed to change our Belle FP for MNSSHP day for weeeeeeks, and I checked twice a day every day and it worked perfectly and I finally found the one I needed! Keep checking, you'll get them where you want them. Especially in the next couple days, check often because people book them, then decide they want a slightly different time and that causes a lot of fluidity in choice around the 60 day mark.

I know, I felt so bad after telling you about the good weather! Today is a very low chance of rain so hopefully it won't rain, although with how hot and humid it is maybe some rain would be nice.
Today I arrived at Epcot minutes before opening, got to FEA at 9:05, was on the ride by 9:29. Not bad! I'm waiting for the F&W fest booths to open so I can start eating!!
