Hey everybody! I know this is early, but I thought I'd start a thread for everyone considering the Fall 2015 program so we can chat about it and get more information

Good luck to you! I'll only be a sophomore in Fall 2015, but I'd like to do it before I get too involved in my major. Plus, I don't think I could wait much longer!

I know it's still pretty earlier, but there's got to be some other Fall 2015 hopefuls out there!

I thought I'd let you all know that I finally decided on a college yesterday...I'll be attending ASU this fall at Barrett, the Honors College! I am very excited!

I'm also graduating in spring 2015 so I am dead set on trying my hardest to get into the Fall (well for me, most likely Fall Advantage) 2015 program. I am an alumni of the program and I hope I am fortunate enough to be given another opportunity to return and try to make a career at WDW! It's a long wait but I've already got a countdown going, haha. My parents want to retire in Florida and my boyfriend lives there, so I've got a lot riding on this. I just hope everything falls into place. Fingers crossed.

I've been back and forth quite a bit, so I'm definitely doing more research now.

When do we need to apply, does anyone know?

I can't make up my mind on whether I want to do advantage or not. I mean, I'd love to be there for as long as possible but I'd also like to spend some time with my family Does anyone know what the start dates for the advantage program are? Is it possible to start in June, opposed to May?

I'll be a sophomore too if I get into Fall Advantage 2015! My parents are trying to edge me away from doing it so early since chances are I'll probably have to take a semester off and either take summer classes or take an extra year to get the general requirements under my belt. Honestly, I'm still going to apply no matter what. If I do it early enough, I could go seasonal and have a reason to return every year after.

I would love to go seasonal, too! It would be challenging, though, because you would have to find your own housing for a month or less. I also wonder if you could do the DCP at WDW and then go seasonal at DL?

It usually starts in May, with arrival dates throughout May and June. I think the earliest arrival date this year was May 8th (or the 12th. It was one of those iirc)

Thanks! I had no idea how that worked, but if the program starts at that time, I'll have to wait until August. I think I should graduate first lol.

Do you know when your graduation would be? There might be an arrival date after it. They were also allowing FA people to request off before the program started for graduations/weddings, but the rules have gotten a bit more stringent (you have to provide proof) because people were abusing the system.

This is one of my fears too, because I don't want to miss my graduation. But I'm willing to take the chance and apply for fall advantage and try to get an arrival date in June. I think when you interview you could mention your concerns to the interviewer and they will probably say something similar.

Edit: Just checked and my graduation is scheduled for May 10th of next year so I should be in the clear! Depending on when you get accepted (hopefully early on in the process), you will have more arrival dates to choose from.

As I mentioned earlier, I can't decide whether I should do FA or just Fall. I mean, of course I want to be there longer! And then I would have a much better chance of getting my birthday off, which is in late August. But I have a guaranteed job next summer if I want it, and it would probably be the wise choice to make some extra money before I go

Also, I am hoping to apply the day the applications come out so I will find out my acceptance ASAP, because if I do get accepted, my mom and I are going to do the Food and Wine Half Marathon! But if I am not living in WDW next fall, we could not be making a trip over there just for a race. Too much $$ But I know the race registration has been super early lately, like in March, so hopefully I would find out in time!
