Online usually updated by 6am ET and phones open at 7am. Something could be announced or put online later in the day but not usually.

Honestly, it's too quiet. No rumors at all other than one random CM. I'll be up at 6 but I'm thinking it will not be tomorrow. Hope I'm wrong.

Well no luck today, I just hung up with a CM who said the room only discounts run to Sept 29 and nothing past that

New rumor today on another thread - one CM said they are expecting AP/FL Resident discounts soon. Take it for what it's worth.

Personally I would have bet that we'd see GP before AP like we did with the last round. But it's impossible to predict at this point.

I feel like the GP discounts for room only will be released first. Not much love for us AP holders lately. POFQ is my resort of choice and there have been no discounts there for awhile except for free dining. Let's face it--free dining is Disney's fave discount. Us AP'ers only get the leftovers.

I'm sure, by the way they promote it, that FD nets them more money. POFQ is tough. RO discounts are still plenty available but only at some resorts. Our resort of choice is BWV and there are always discounts there. Of course, this time I have a 2BDR so my chances are much smaller. But the odds are higher than if I booked BCV or BLT. It's all based on availability, of course. If you're flexible or your fave resort is not one of the most popular ones, you can do a lot better.

Last year we didn't have the AP, and we were going for F&W so we wanted to be on the Boardwalk. Of course we ended up in the Oct gap where there were no discounts at all. So we ended up with a deal at the Dolphin instead. thus year we're going whether we have a discount or not. But a 2BDR for 12 nights is over $10K, so a discount for any of it would be helpful.

Well I guess I will just pay off my package without the AP discount. I booked back in February with a 30% off pin. Guess I will be happy I have that and move forward...and I am happy I have it. I tried to get the military discount when it came out last week. I called within a few minutes of the announcement, but my resort already had filled all the discounted rooms....or there wern't any to beginning with.

Question: If I pay off my package today and an AP discount comes out tomorrow can I apply it (if available at my resort) and get a refund from Disney?

I got room credit in January! I had my trip paid off and called to see if there were any discounts for AP and they said yes and gave me a credit on my room acct.

I spoke to a CM a few minutes ago and he said they AP discount should be out by the end of the month. My friend wants to go for two days so FD won't work for her.

That's the second CM today to report that. The other one said AP and Fl Resident will be out soon. still a chance they're wrong, of course. But I'm inclined to believe this one.

I've already dialed 407-939-742*. As soon as the discount drops, I'm hitting 9 and plan to be the 1,479,349th person on hold to try and get the discount.
