Fall 2012 AP Rates- is anyone else waiting?

Still no rumors. Some CMs are speculating Sept but that seems to be because they just haven't heard anything.. Reminds me of last year. Except last year the APs came out early. But then everyone expected GPs but they didn't come and they didn't come. And when they finally came, most of Oct was blocked out. Of course this year they seem to be doing GPs first, then the deeper APs. But it would not surprise me if Oct isn't covered again.

Last year AP room rates for Oct-Dec came out on Aug 3...Same day as Free Dining...WTH? I can't believe they would just not come out at all, the last few ap rates were only issued a month before the start date...So here's to the end of the month! I just want to be able to relax for goodness sake!

I'm hoping they come out soon! I am also waiting on an October trip and a November trip! The current offer is until August 14th so hoping the 15th will be when they release the offers..

I'm really hoping the 15th is the magical day for AP rates to come out, but I'm honestly not holding my breath. We always go in October, but are debating a Xmas trip this year, too.id really love to see any AP or FL resident rates very soon!

I saw a rumor that ap rates will be released on the 15th. Fingers, toes and legs crossed!

If I was a betting girl, my money is on tomorrow, being that the current offer ends 8/14 BUT, maybe that means they have to wait until 8/15...PP may be on to something!

Me too.

In any event, I'm pretty confident we'll be seeing fall room discounts at some point.

For starters, fall free dining is still available at lots of resorts and lots of time periods. Moreover, they extended free dining up until Dec. 20th, meaning someone could get free dining for the entire week between Christmas and New Year's. And they did this even knowing that they'd be announcing the Fantasyland expansion. All of this tells me they're needing to continue to offer discounts in order to fill their resorts.

Moreover, as far as the current (about to expire) room discount is concerned, I went online last Saturday, and was able to price out discounted packages at both Poly and Yacht Club for next week. You'd think if there was still availability at these resorts during the summer from a promotion that's a couple of months old, that such would be a good sign for room discounts during fall periods when kids are in school.

waiting for discount nov-30-dec4...this is a short surprise trip (jet blue just started flying out of pvd that week and they had 75.00 fares...couldn't resist! We are dvc..are dvc trip is in April..not used to waiting for discounts...nervewracking,,,lol!!!!!
