I wouldn’t be upset. I would be upset if they lied and told me it was authentic. If it looks nice then I’d enjoy it for that.

It's pretty unusual. It comes with a small screw and a screwdriver that is used to screw it on the recipient.

Ditto. I would be upset if someone spent real money on real jewelry for me. I would rather spend those funds on a Disney vacation.

A genuine bracelet would have the Cartier hallmark stamped in the metal, but there are a lot of good quality knockoffs which I would almost rather wear in public in case something happened. But I have seen some bad knockoffs as well. I still would base my feelings on how it was presented. It is also possible they didn’t know it was a knockoff. People get taken in every day by counterfeit goods.
