Fairytale Package out!

Hi,
I saw on the Disney web site that they are now offering the FAirytale vacation package! I read what is included and it looks as if the only extra perk you get is a piece of Walt Disney Art work. Is this the same FTP Package that people were talking about that they came out with last year?

We did the FP last year and we received 7 nights with UPH for the price of 4! It was a good deal if you needed tickets too. The package this year is not the same deal...yet! We can hope.

It's on their website, but it's not 7 nights for the price of 4. It just has the same name.

Can anyone book this package? A FTP was released last week, but it's only for Disney Visa Card members.

It's only for NEW Disney Visa cardholders. I have a Disney Visa and I am not allowed You have to get a special invitation according to Bank One and Disney. We even recieved an application in DH's name and no offer was included.

NO! This is NOT the same package that was available last year. In fact, the Fairytale package was available BEFORE the 7 nights for the price of 4 promotion. They just changed the package content to suit their marketing needs.

The 7 for 4 Fairytale Package is NOT available to the general public.

So far its not, but we all tend to believe that it will be released at the very least for all Disney Visa holders. I for one will cancel my card if they don't offer it to everyone!

I believe the FTP will be released for everyone, it might just take a little longer.

So far the only people who can ge the package are those who get a mailing from disney and bank one.

I will cancel mine as well. Then I'll wait to get an offer to come back. There's no advantage to having the card for as long as I have. I would have been better off not having it!!!

I'd like to KICK Disney as well!!

Is Visa and Disney offering 7 for 4 for new Disney Visa card Holders. If so Please let me know. Is it a sure thing if you get a card or just one of those luck of the draw things. Thanks in advance.

i heard if you get a new card you can get the package,
if already have a card dont bother, they said for new card
holders only!

if you can get the disney package if you apply or if there is

I cancel my card also. So far I've seen little benefit to using the card. It looks like I'm going back to my airlines credit card. The miles are rewarded at much better rate. And it's available to ALL cardholders.

I agree, what is 1%?? nothing I say.
My SIL who put everything she could on her card on ly got
$150 (in the one year or less she has had it)
whoopie, that isnt going to put much of a dent her vacation!
they claim you are getting closer to a vacation
at that rate she would have to save for 20 years to pay
for a trip!

let's all email visa and tell them about it!

I'm right with you guys. Lets gang up on bank one. I do already have a disney visa, but thought I would get dh or my mom to also sign up for one since they both will be going to disney as well.
I signed up for the Disney card when there were no promotions going on. I just got my card a few weeks ago, and after they sent me my first billing statement, they had enought nerve to send me a coupon for $25 disney reward dollars if I would open a new account. " DUH!! I already have one, and could not take advantage of the offer. Why don't they send that to people before hand.

I agree that being a Bank One Charter Member has been worth absolutely nothing so far! Maybe it will finally pay off with this package.

Get this! I called Friday when I read the rumors on this board (about FTP being only offered to New members), and told the Customer Service Rep that this was very unfair and discriminating against already loyal customers...guess what she told me?

1. Just sign up for ANOTHER card (but that wouldn't work cause I didn't have the special offer code anyway)...and THEN

2. She had the nerve to compare me to customers who call and complain that they got a CD soundtrack when they signed up instead of the movie DVD being offered now!


I screamed "this difference is worth more than $1,000!"

I have tried that "other" card thing! they didnt approve me!
said I had too many credit cards, the original mickey visa is
in my husband's name.

I have tried this with amex too and they said I could have another
card in my name only, but none of the "free" miles i could have
gotten would apply since I already had a card.


wonder if disney visa would be the same way?

I think without the Internet Disney/Bank One would have been able to do this because others wouldn't have known. Now, with all the talking, people are just going to be too upset.
