Yes this is the policy for this package but I am saving $3365 so it is worth is for me to go ahead and pay for it! I have two rooms, Yacht Club concierge level for 2 adults and 3 teens (same price as adults). This is great! Early morning saving money!

My room was orginially reserved through CRO- but they said they had to transfer me to WDTC- saying only they could put this through, you must put $200 down and the remainder is due 45 days before you go. You can cancel this deal before the 45 days hits and pay no penalties. I would still come out cheaper if they released room only codes because we only intended on doing the 5 day PH. But I wanted to book this just in case no more specials come out for that time frame.
They say you get a leather bag tag, 1 character framed art, and a pin.
The price on the LV Concierge for the same time period was $3443 for any interested- keep in mind this is for a family of five.

I currently have a "room-only" reservation at Boardwalk, booked through CRO. When I called this morning to change it to the FTM package, she said I have to wait until Sunday to do it, since my reservation is through CRO. Do you all think I will still get the package if I wait until Sunday to do this? Or would I be better of cancelling it and booking through WDTC today? I'd really rather have the better terms of cancellation through CRO, but will they make me change to WDTC on Sunday anyway?

Although the FTM package is extremely popular here at DIS, I think the number of people making reservations today, who actually know about it, is relatively small (of course I could be way off) . I don't think you should have a problem waiting til 5/11. Most people don't get up til 9am or so on Sunday anyway, so you'll have a 2 hour head start on them.

Call back- my reservation was through CRO- I told her I wanted to check on the possibility of applying the FT to my reservation- she said she'd have to transfer me- no problem...call back and get someone who's aware that it's open today.

This was EXACTLY my situation and I got it done today at 7:30 AM. I called CRO, was transferred to WDTC, she made the new reservation, and then cancelled the old one. Tell the CM the code for the Fairytale Package is ZRFS. You just need the right CM!

I had a feeling I'd have a problem with changing a "CRO room only" ressie to a "WDTC package" so yesterday I cancelled my room only ressie and booked the DreamMaker Package thinking it would be easier today to just change it to the Fairytale Package.

Could you call now and make a new Fairytale Package ressie and then call later to cancel your room only after you know you got the package?

I spoke with a very pleasant CM this am when I upgraded from CR tower to Tower club (saved a ton of money with this package). She told me her first calls are usually for CRT but this am she had several FTpkg. ressies. I think this may be a pretty big seller. Hopefully it will help Disney get back on their feet (I'm a stock holder too)!!

I just booked. For 9 nights 8/22-8/31 at the Wilderness Lodge Courtyard view for 2 adults and 2 children (one of who qualifies as an adult) it was $2,980.10.

When I first planned the trip I had figured on $4,200 for room and tickets so this is a 28.5% savings for me!!

I am doing the happy dance right now! I had butterflies in my stomach when I was dialing but it went so smoothly.

I just got off the phone CRO. I was quoted 1945.00 for 7 nights at POR (Fairytale package). 3 adults 3 children (4,5,8). I thought this sounded high. We have a current "room only" for 6 nights @ 818.00 and I figured about 900.00 for our hoppers. What do you think? Thanks.

I just changed my Dreammaker to FT and switched from GV Conc Poly to LV Conc Poly and my price went from 4066 to 2845 for 2 adults and 1 child. I am SOOOOOOO excited - I don't know if I can wait until September. Good thing I've got springsteen tickets for this summer to keep me going until Disney (my other obsession).

I finally got thru this AM and book fairytale (non DC) for the ASMo. 2 Adults 1 6yr old child. No travel protection & taxes/fees included the price was $1209.93.

CM had no problems and seem to know exactly what I was talking about. As soon as she answered I said hello and I want to book a 7 night stay utilizing the Fairytale package. The CM just said "OK" let me get you rates and travel dates.

I attempted to book July 13 - July 20. Last night the online resie system said standard and preferred existed however this AM only perferred was left for ASMo online. By the time I got thru the CM said that there were no rooms available any longer for ASMo during my dates. I ended up moving up one week and was told only standard was available. (fyi: I believe Fantasia is preferred). The ASMo seems to be booking fast. I am no book July 20 - 27.

I want to cry, I am so afraid of the ridiculous heat we will have. The heat scares me and makes people STINK! My DDarling wants to go in the summer so our 6 year will not miss school or fall soccer. I guess she can really miss soccer since I am the coach.

I'm kind of in the same dilemma- we did not plan on using anything more than Park hoppers- your price is higher on FT because they're charging the UPHP for those 3 adults and 3 children (don't know the ages of your children but if they're over 9 I think they pay the adult price...) So, you can look at it two ways- make both reservations- you have the right to cancel and get a refund if you cancel before the 45 days for the FT- and hope to see room only discounts- then you can switch the plans to whichever is cheaper. If you don't find any appeal in having the UPHP for all days/nights then I would just stick with what you have. That's really the big difference between your two options.
