Fairies?

I was at the Disney store picking up some Christmas gifts and saw mountains of this "Fairie" merchandise. Can someone clue me in? Is this a new movie or something? I saw a little bit of Tinkerbelle but it looked like lots of it was a red-headed fairie I had never seen or heard of before.

I thought this might help. I got an email about it awhile back from Disney. Personally, I think its a marketing gimmick.

Interesting - I wonder if the Great Ormond Street Children's Hospital in London gets a part of these royalties?
