Fairfiled Inn or Paradise Pier

I stay at HoJo a lot, and per different websites, it's about the same walking distance to the DL entrance as PPH is. And Fairfield is even closer! So walking will be about the same for either.

As for the price, $1300 for 3 nights seems....excessive. Now, a view of the DCA park is a really cool perk, but for over $400/night??? If you've got the money, do it, but I never would. Fairfield is a really nice place and half the cost. It will have a 4 star hotel feel like PPH does.

You mentioned Park Vue above, which is very close. But it won't feel as nice as PPH. It's more of a motel.

If it were my money, I'd go with Fairfield over PPH w/Parkvue. But I go to DL quite a bit. If this is your first and maybe only chance to come to DL, then splurge.

Benefits of staying at paradise pier: Disney experience, beach themed rooms, BEACHBALL pillows (that surprising get stolen a lot from what I hear), extra hour in DCA (totally worth it if going after soarin reopens also allows early access to WOC fp), Mickey waffles and bar downstairs. Cons:elevator in morning can be annoying just remember to try going up to go down.
Benefits of Fairfield inn: cheaper but still cleaner, breakfast. Cons: not really a Disney experience, after bed bugs some years ago I won't stay there but that's me.

Neither is bad and they are about the same difference. And yes PPH during summer can be that high.

I ended up booking at the Grand legacy. 1,300 was too much for literally two extra hours in the park. That is what it came down to. I have a 3 day park hopper. While I know that DCA is not included with the magic morning, I just couldn't justify it over 400.00 for that. I am going solo so I can come and go as I please and will take advantage of all the SR passes I can get.

You'd be saving 650 bucks.. That's a big chunk of change, at least for myself. PP is the crappiest of the Disneyland hotels and is located a fair walk from the parks. I don't think it's worth the extra money. Fairfield or Park Vue would be much more practical for my needs personally.

Good choice. Save the money and just wait single rider.
