Fairfield Star Island

Has anyone stayed at Fairfields Star Island. If so, how was it: recreation, accomodations ect... Wer'e thinking of staying there next October or November. There will be 7 of us, 2 adults and 5 Kids (9,7,7,5,5). I am under the impression that this is on a lake? Any information is appreciated. Thanks in advance

this is not as popular with tuggers as some of the other ones - but Orlando has alot of wonderful timeshares

If you will have a 3 BR, you're family would have a wonderful stay. The rooms are well-equipped. It's a nice resort, with a couple of pool areas and some organized activities. The lake is fairly small but they do have a few rental boats. The drive to Disney's MGM or Epcot is about 10-15 minutes (easy drive), 5 minutes more to AK or the TTC for the MK monorail. There are a ton of restaurants and shops in the immediate area but the resort is large and well set back from the main drive, over a short bridge, so it's peaceful. There are no rooms which overlook busy roads. HTH.
