Please, please!!! Can anyone tell me any and everything about this hotel. I need to know the good and the bad!?!?!?!?!? :listen:

The complex is not a hotel. It consists of timeshare condos.

The good: The two bedroom units are fabulous. Very comfortable and nicely decorated. We loved the full kitchen, jacuzzi and washer and dryer in the unit. There are many restaurants within walking distance including a Cracker Barrel. The pools are nice. The units looking north overlook a nice pond with a walking trail around it.

The bad: The maintenance staff can enter the unit even with the deadbolt turned. Someone entered the unit when I was just getting out of the bathtub. The drive on I-92 can take a while if traffic is heavy. I avoided I-92 and took other roads many times. The carpet was stained.

The one bedroom units that combine with the two bedroom units are rather small. They have a sofa and small table in one room with a partial kitchen. The bed is in a separate small room. There is no balcony or washer/dryer.

I prefer condos over hotels. It was a decent place. I would stay there again, but would pick a condo closer to Disney if given a choice.

The following web site has a few pictures:

I have a friend that is willing to let us use it for 300.00 for the week of 5/28/05--6/4/05. I have a room reserved at POP for 656.00 for the week. I am trying to compare the two. I would like to stay at POP but my DH thinks we should take the timeshare and rent a car for more flexibility. If I have someone staying at the the Swan/Dolphin can we park there and use disney transportation or how much is parking at the parks?

Having a condo is nice, since you get the extra room, plus a kitchen were you can fix a small breakfast or snacks much cheaper than if staying on-site. However, staying on site has its "magic". We've done both, and have been very happy either way.

If I recall correctly, parking was $7 per day. Just save your receipt/stub and you can park at multiple locations in the same day.

We really liked this place when we stayed there a couple years ago. Nice spacious unit I do remember that and for the price I would go for it. Consider that you can cook breakfast in the place and save $$ there alone! You can also get snacks, water bottles etc to bring in the parks and have a refrigerator etc. I know its nice to stay onsite however the space you will get here and the chance to save some $$ on food is worth it to me

Thanks DianeV, I think I will take your advice and stay with the condo. If you don't mind can you give me specific info on the drive from airport to condo, drive from condo to parks and the pool? :jumping4:

All I remember is the resort is hard to find. They dont have a big sign on 192 which is the road its on. I can tell you its across the street from the big Orange store. You will know what I mean when you see it.

For directions I would do a map quest from the airport to the street address although there are probably some here who can give you better directions. My husband usually drives and I dont pay alot of attention to details.

Also, look for Krispy Kreme Dounut place, its right there by the entrance too
