Just checked inn ... This is our first time staying here and I am pleasantly surprised room is very clean..comfortable size for a family of four bathroom super clean no mold in tub area ;-) we are on park side yay no freeway noise...I'll post some pics when I get home... So far very happy!

I've been to many Fairfield Inns and I've never found them to be dirty. I'm hoping to get a little magic myself when we arrive in October so that we have a park view as well.

We just checked out yesterday and stayed 5 nights and I don't have a single complaint! Great place to stay and I see us staying there again in the future :)

Don't forget to check lastminutetravel.com. I got a room at the Fairfield Inn 8/31 to 9/3 for $93/night vs. the $189 they wanted on marriott.com. The Fairfield is the hotel that is exactly 13.63 miles from the airport.

Is it an easy walk to the park from here? Debating between Fairfield Inn and Best Western Park Place Inn. We will have our 2 boys ages 6 and 4 with us so would like to have a short walk.

I've stayed there a couple of times. I think the hotel is fine but it's not a short walk. BWPPI is straight across from the park, a much easier walk, especially at the end of a long day at Dland. Never have stayed there and have no comparison to offer about the two motels.

We have stayed at both. The BWPPI is closer (it's at the crosswalk) but the Fairfield is only a short 5 min walk (if that). We prefer the BWPPI but thats just my 2cents.

Best Western PPI is closer. We always stay at the Fairfield (FFI), and the walk is absolutely do-able, however, with our dd at 4, we had the stroller still and that was our savior to walking back to the hotel at night. No way could she have made it after a full day in the parks. Walking to the parks in the morning was fine. So if you won't have a stroller for the walk back with a 4 year old, you may want to stay at the BWPPI.

I'm a horrible judge at distance, but the Fairfield is maybe an extra 4-5 min walk past the BWPPI...??
