Fairfield Inn or Spring Hill Suites?

We decided to stay near Disney the first 5 nights we are in town. My husband saw there was a Spring Hill Suites nearby also which includes breakfast. Wondering which hotel is better and why and how far is the walk to Disney from the Spring Hill Suites? Give me all the pros and cons for both hotels. We are using points and they are the same- so cost is not an issue. There are 5 of us- we we need the pull out for my son. (he's 15 and 6'1") Is the walk to and from Spring Hill Suites safe and doable for 3-4 days?
