I have never heard of this place before. We always struggle to find a place to eat in DHS. How is this place and is it new or what?

The menu looks much like Cosmic Rays is MK. How is the portion size?

I had the salad there last year. The quality was comparable to Wendy's.

When we were there in December, we stopped at Fairfax fare for a hearty snack (we planned to eat a late meal that day). My husband and we both loved it. First, for a counter-service credit we were very happy to get a platter with both ribs and chicken for just one credit. Our food was all very tender and all-around good bbq. The sides (baked beans and coleslaw) weren't nearly as good, but we liked the entrees so much that we plan to stop there again our next trip.

Portion size is comparable to Cosmic Ray's, and I would rate it as better quality after comparing them head-to-head. Or rib-to-rib, as it were, on the BBQ platter.

But on the chicken/ribs combo platter you get a 1/4 BBQ chicken portion, not half like at Cosmic Rays.

We've eaten at Fairfax Fare a few times. Chicken was a bit dry but decent, ribs and pulled pork sandwich were good.

We ate there before Fantasmic...I had a great tex/mex salad...does anyone know if they still have it? It is missing from the updated allears menu. DH got brisket and ribs and really liked them. This counter service also has hotdogs for the kids and is close to other quick service places that have ppizza, burgers, chicken if your kids are not into BBQ.

Its not new b/c we ate there in November and really enjoyed it. I believe they have a few different counters to order from like Cosmic Rays does. (makes it more difficult to make everyone happy though, as you have to stand in each line).
I had the pulled pork sandwich and it was quite good. My kids weren't quite as happy with the selections though.
I do remember being bombarded by those darn hungry birds there though. :confused3

Not sure about the salad but we were there last Oct. and the menu had changed. No more brisket but they still had ribs, chicken and combo. I think the Allears menu is correct.

Its located on the left when heading toward TOT, across from Beauty and the Beast. (after the first right when heading toward the sorcerers hat). Its a group of smaller bldgs with outdoor seating.

The only places I like to eat in DHS is at Sci-fi or Brown Derby. We normally do DHS in two half days to avoid actually eating at DHS.

I got stuck eating at the CS places during Last Tour to Endor and all of them are pretty forgettable. If I had to pick one to eat at again, under duress, it would be Pizza Planet. It's okay, but I like the idea of leaving the park even better. LOL

I've gone to Epcot on my Studios days before just to get lunch. ;)
