ok, so I was asked to come in for possible employment at Disneyland today.

As I drove over to the TDA (Team Disney Anaheim) building (that green and yellow one behind Disneyland), I listened to Pete and Walter's Adventures in Austrailia.

Unfortunately, they decided I was not what they were looking floor. Me with my Mickey purse, 50th anniversary bracelet and Club 33 bracelet.....not to mention the stupid grin on my face being in the building....

I came home (listening to more DIS Unplugged on the way) to find that I had received a comment about my going to the appointment from KATHY!!!!

And she also left a nice note on my wall when I announced that Disney did not want me.

So, I just wanted to announce THANK YOU KATHY!!!!! Honestly, made my day!!

So, maybe I will try again in April....(need an intern, Pete?)

Maybe Disney was not the right employer for you at this time. Maybe later. Or, maybe another employment opportunity will be even better. Good for you for trying!

It's a dream worth trying for again. I hope to one day be re-employed by Disney, it will happen.:goodvibes

DONT give up ! it took me 3 times trying to finally get a job at Disneyland when i was younger !! if i would have quit after the first 2 times i would have missed out on LOTS of great memories !! each interview helped me prepare for the next. Next time i wouldnt wear so much Disney stuff, let them know you are a Fan, but dont tell them to what extent. just be upbeat, positive, outgoing and professional and im sure you will do great next time. Just make sure you apply again !!
