We have several Magic Bands from past trips and many of them now look chalky/faded. Has anyone else experienced this and did you have a way to clean them to look new again? I know the batteries have about a 2 year lifespan (they are all between 2-4 years old) and that when the batteries run out, you can only use them for limited purposes. Before chucking them out in advance of our Aug trip, I thought I would ask if anyone had any ideas on the faded magic bands?

Thanks!

You can use car wax to shine them up.

They can be used for nearly ALL purposes.
Even with a dead battery, they work with all activities where the guest touches the MB to a reader
to perform the function.
(Park entry tickets, opening WDW resort doors, paying via connected credit cards, FP+ readers, etc.)
