Has anyone been to the outlets recently? I need pins for all the kids on a family trip (need approx. 250) so I was looking for them cheap. My store is out of the ones I got for a steal before our last trip ($.65 with my 10% DVC discount:p ). I know I will have to pay more than that but I can't afford full price.

Don't want to be tempted by the outlet if I can't get pins.

Thanks in advance
Sandy

I love to shop for bargains and just had to go to the factory outlet Disney store at Belz durning our trip in June. What a disappointment. The store was not a pleasant environment and many of the items in the store were the same price as in the park. It turns out that if the park is currently selling it, the factory outlet must sell the item for the same price. The discounted items were items no longer for sale at the park stores, like Easter Poohs, etc. I was sorry that I didn't do more souvenier shopping at WDW because I didn't find that much to buy at the outlet. It really was a bit swarmy and we were sorry we ended our trip there.

lucysdad,

Too bad you had such a poor experience at the Belz outlet. I'll admit it isn't the nicest place in the world--we bolted for the door as soon as we finish our WDW Outlet shopping. But we found some great bargains back in January. Perhaps they had a better selection then since the 100 yrs celebration was ending. Although, come to think of it, we didn't really get anything with the 100 yrs on it.

We ended up with 3 sweatshirts (one of which originally sold for about $65-75 if memory serves), a short sleeved polo shirt, button down collar dress shirt and a couple other knick-knacks for just over $100.

Much better selection than they had at the Prime Outlets store...

I go to the Belz outlet in St. Augustine a lot and I've bought several shirts and sweatshirts there and then seen them in the parks for much higher!! The pins - with a few exceptions are usually full price! Maybe it's different at that store since it's not so close to WDW.

Does anyone have an address for this outlet store? I think we shopped at the Premier Outlets Character warehouse during our last trip and we found several good deals. I'd be interested in visiting any outlet that carries WDW park merchandise (not Disney Store merchandise like we can get at home).

We were at the Belz outlet in June as well, but we managed to find lots of good values. I think I spent around 300.00 between the 2 Disney World Outlets at Belz and had it all shipped home.. It can be hit or miss there. Some trips we make two trips there and a lot can change in 5 days..

I don't know the exact adress, I think you could get it at http://www.belz.com/factory/index.html

However Belz is located at the very northernmost part of International Drive. Just take I-Drive as far as it goes north and it dead-ends at Belz. There is a Disney Outlet in each of the 2 indoor malls.

Us too ;) Well actually I only spent about $100 in both stores but my neice who was buying for every friend and family member spent close to $200. I left with 1 sweatshirt, 3 t-shirts, 1 pair of PJs, 1 hat, 3 holiday ornaments, a photo album and a couple of magnets. I don't remember everything my neice bought but it was a lot.

My suggestion is to try and go early in your visit. That way if you don't find what you want, you can buy it in the parks. Like most outlets it can be hit or miss. Now that I have a lot of stuff, I find very little there. I did find some TOT pins last time for 99 cents! They do limit you to so many pins per person per trip. Most of thier pins were in the $4 range. Cheaper then the park, but not real cheap! (Maybe you could just keep going to the car and coming back?)

However, I know the one at the Premium Outlet was selling some 75 years of Mickey stuff at discount when it was still full price in the parks. I saw a coffee mug last week for 5.99 and saw it later in a park shop for $12.

I got a 75 years of Mickey Polo shirt, gray, at one of the Belz stores. It was only 9.99 regular price I think was 48.00. I thought it was strange since Mickey's Birthday technically isn't until November... We also got one of those huge snowglobes like the parade float at MK for half price for 39.00.. Lots of Christmas stuff, kids shirts, etc.. Last year I got a WDW 30th Birthday leather jacket for about 100.00.. Regular price was closer to 400.00 if I remember correctly. It is all about being in the right place at the right time. One year my BIL got a Mickey watch for I think 29.00. They are still selling that in the parks ( I saw it this trip) for 98.00 I think.

sgtdisney, thanks for the e-mail address for the Belz Outlet Mall!

Does anyone have an address, or e-mail address for the Premiere Outlet Mall?
