How do you put someone on "hide" ?

When you are on your homepage and reading someone's status..or their farmville posts or whatever... If you move your cursor around to the right a "hide" button will appear. If you click it, they are still your friend, but their stuff doesn't show up on your wall all the time.

I accept anyone...within reason. Meaning if I know them or of them or are related in anyway to someone that I know. I would never ask to "friend" them unless I knew them well.

If they know me and want to "friend" then I have no problem. Over the course of a few months I have determined that facebook is possibly the dumbest thing to come down the pike anyway.

It is more of a place where some one can spit out any random thought they might have and expect (and sometimes get) massive support and kudos for some of the most foolish things ever uttered. I also find that it is a wonderful forum for all those that are absolutely sure that they are the only ones to ever have had a child and are positive that you want to see minute by minute photo's of their childs growth and terminal cuteness.

I'll accept most people within reason. They are usually a friend of a friend..which is fine. Or they belong to an online scrapbook group and it was easier to get in touch with everyone from different groups.
I recently set up a FB page for my scrapbook pages. I was easier to upload pics and since most of friends are on FB all the time anyway, I thought it was cool.

I will say anyone with reason but I do have to know them. I get some people that I don't know and have never known requesting to be my friend. They get an ignore.

I'll accepted anyone (within reason). If I can figure out where you're from, I'll accept you. If we don't have any friends in common, Ill let them sit there until I make my decision.

Sometimes I get requests from HS classmates. We have 20-30 friends in common, but I'll be darned if I kow you they are They set for awhile...until I can private message others to refresh my memory.

I accept people whom I have some connection with, whether or not I know them well. In other words, I accept acquaintances - mostly those that act in community theaters.

I didn't vote. I accept people I know, who I like. I accept HS people I was friends with and want to connect with. I have a few HS friends who I don't really want to re-connect with so I didn't accept them.

I don't accept people I don't know.

I have people request me who knew me cuz they were friends of a friend or friends of a relative but I'm sorry, I have to deny you. I have to decide if I want these people to know details of my life or not. I certainly do not want strangers knowing my life or even virtual strangers cuz they must feel like they know me enough to friend me right ? if I wouldn't mind having them in my real life, then they can be in my Facebook life.

I collect people in real life, so that kinda carries over into facebook. I love having so many different friends from different places. it's really neat.

I chose number three since i'm not close to many people. I used to be friends with 3 fellow Dis members and now it's down to two since one unfriended me for some reason. I don't post a lot on there.

Once I meet these guys, they all want to now be my friend. Really??? Sorry, lol I dont request or accept requests from any of them. I don't need to be friends with all 6 guys she is dating at once.
