Yup, for sure I've ignored AND 'unfriended'.
Dh's ex's family, several members, friended me. They did so after a joint party we had for my dss. They're nice to me and all, but it seemed weird to me for them to be on my page. I discussed it with dh and he had no problem with me unfriending them, so I did. One of them attempted to friend me again, I just ignored. No one has said anything to me. If they think it's rude, well...can't be helped I guess. I am totally supportive of having a good relationship with dh's ex's family, I'm very nice to them, invite them to my home, etc. But I don't think I need them to be part of EVERYTHING I do. Especially when SO much of my life is shared already, holidays, etc. (Don't get my wrong, I don't talk about them or my dh's ex...my dss IS a 'friend' of mine on FB, I'd never say anything to upset him EVER!)
A couple people whom I hardly knew friended me. But when they didn't respond to any 'Hey, how are you?' messages I just unfriended them. Not sure why they friended me in the first place! But my goal is NOT to have the biggest friend list, I just want people on there who genuinely want to know what I'm up to.
