Funny FB story. I have a friend that I've known for years. She was dxed with breast cancer shortly after we moved away and we kept in touch for about two or three years after that. Last i had heard, she was in remission and doing well.
We lost touch and then about two months ago, her dh reqested me as a friend. Not her. I looked at his profile, no mention of my friend and lots of ladies leaving wall posts. No pics, no relationship info. So, I thought the worst. But I didn't want to come out and ask if my friend had died, so I put a simple "How are you all doing?" on his wall. I figured that would be an opening for whether or not he had anything to tell me.
Well, after a month and a half of being convinced that this friend had died, she sent me a facebook message. I was never so happy to hear from a facebook friend ever!!. She was fine, her and her family ended up coming to spend the weekend with us. i told her what I had thought and she laughed. It turns out that the facebook account is the whole family's and the ladies are her friends!! So, now whenever she writes on my wall, she puts in about how she's still alive or not dead yet!!!
