Face coverings required again indoors

We had already decided to wear our masks indoors for our August trip anyway!
Now if they would go back to not holding everyone in a clump for rope drop that would be even better!

So it says all attractions too right? So the safari, speedway, dumbo and all of the outdoor attractions will require a mask in 100 degree heat? I’m kicking myself for renting DVC points right now. I wish I could cancel.

Well they have been hiring more security. In my mind it’s simple. Not following the mask requirements? Be escorted out of the park.

Alas, that’s only in your mind. I saw numerous people not following mask rules in April when CMs weren’t on top of them. Even saw folks ignore CMs or have to be told multiple times by the same CM and zip happened to them.

I feel bad for the staff that have to police this again. We haven’t worn a mask in over two months - can’t imagine wearing one again. We won’t do it so our choice is to cancel upcoming trip in September if still required, but don’t blame Disney for following CDC recommendations - they really had no choice. Hopefully this variant will be a month or so and then things settle down again and we are back to normal.

So true. I’m mostly worried about not having any pics because other guests aren’t wearing theirs. I hate that Disney did that. It’s the classic punish the entire class for the the students who won’t follow the rules. I HATE that.

Great news! I was so worried my face would actually be in pictures. This is perfect.! On a serious note, my family was going to opt for masks inside anyway for out Oct trip so this dosnt change anything for us.

We’re getting there Saturday and happy about this decision. We were going to wear masks indoors anyway.

DD (11) gets her rapid test tomorrow and if negative we go to Aulani on Sunday. If she is positive I was planning on a last second trip to WDW to use our DVC points 10 days later but now I’m not sure. We were just there a month ago, with the indoor mask rule changing middle of our trip. If we do it we might just do the pool during the day and hit the parks just the last 3 hours each day when it is a little cooler. Not needing the masks while walking around outside was most important, but I’m not up for standing in a long Tower of T line with a mask in 94 degrees when I’ve ridden in 30+ times already.
