And the flu vaccine does not help against all the different mutations of the virus, so the best thing is just to wash your hands as often af possibleInteresting timing—just a couple of days ago, the FDA issued a warning letter against purell to stop claiming without evidence that it can help to prevent flu. Best to stick to flu shots and frequent hand washing.
Yep, that’s why I said to also practice frequent hand washing. But hand washing alone can’t help you if someone sneezes/coughs in your face, so I recommended both. And the flu vaccine does not help against all the different mutations of the virus, so the best thing is just to wash your hands as often af possible
Every surface at the park is a petri dish. It really is a matter of being awareYep, that’s why I said to also practice frequent hand washing. But hand washing alone can’t help you if someone sneezes/coughs in your face, so I recommended both.
I will say, I do wish the parks had handwashing stations at the entrance of buffets like they do on Disney Cruises. I always feel like those serving spoons at buffets are just coated with germs waiting to pounce on me.

Here now and not noticing anything other than. some wearing masks. We are heading that way soon!! Is Disney putting out hand sanitizer or anything to help with the spread of germs? I am just curious because they did when we were there in February 2018, although I think the flu was a bit worse that year.
Hand sanitizer will kill colds but not the flu - found that out that hard way . . . .hand washing is the best optionThanks! We are avid hand washers, and all are vaccinated - except a breastfed baby who can't get a flu shot yet. Baby will be worn pretty much the whole time so no strangers in her face, and luckily she doesn't get down and touch things yet. We'll carry our own sanitizer to be on the safe side.
I visit the parks weekly and have never got the flu, or the stomach flu that a lot of people get. And have never had a flu shot. It's all about the hand washing and being pro-active and not touching my face or nose or mouth when at the parks
Plus *always* choose paper towels over air dryers. Paper towels actually wipe off some viruses (true--look it up). And air dryers blow viruses from your hands all over the room.Hand sanitizer will kill colds but not the flu - found that out that hard way . . . .hand washing is the best option
