1) By itself, $7.50 doesn't sound bad.
2) Let's say it averages $6.00 per amuse bouche (snack).
. . . assume you stop at 8 booths, minimum
. . . food: $6.00 x 8 booths = $48.00
. . . wine: $5.00 x 8 booths = $40.00
. . . folk: $88.00 x 2 people = $176.00
. . . minimum
. . . excludes park admission cost
3) Ee-Gads. As expensive as going to a Major League Baseball Game.
Very few things cost $6 or more. Many are in the $3-$5 range. I know some portions are rather small, but most look like they are way more than "a bite". (I would believe that maybe the photos look larger than life, but it is pretty easy to tell how large something is when it is in someones hand)
Many wine tastes are in the $2.50-$4 range, and most beer tastes are in the $3-$3.50 range. Then there are a lot of drinks that are in the $6-$9 range.
We have our F&W "meals" planned out so that we hit about 23 of the booths over 4 visits, with room for repeating a few of our favorites on the last visit.
An example of one of our "meals" has us sharing 10 food items from 7 booths, 1 wine, 3 small beer tastes and a $9.75 cosmo slush and the cost is $66.
Another day has us again sharing 10 food items from 7 countries, 2 wines, 1 beer taste and 3 other drinks in the $7 to $8 range for a total of $92.
MORE than enough to satisfy our appetites. I will be shocked if we complete all that we have planned! Can not wait to try!!
Maybe others eat and drink a whole lot more than this??
