??? f & w impact on attendence ride lines and epcot resorts

how does the food and wine festival impact attendencein october. is it an all week impact or just weekends. would i be better off going week after labor day. and would dolphin and yacht club be more crowded in october. ive never been to disney with a day under 7 on crowd calendar and would love it less crowded. this is for next year if it matters. thanks

The biggest impact of F&W for crowds is on weekends, Friday evening through Sunday and only really impacts Epcot. But Monday to Thursday is quite manageable and F&W is worth doing.

The resorts aren't impacted by that very much but the huge Gartner conventions fills many resorts during 1 week in October (the dates do vary from year to year). Check the convention dates and avoid those and you should be fine.

It's a whole month impact on Epcot and the Epcot resorts. DVC resorts get booked up solid by seven months out if not before then.

There is also the big Gartner Conference going on in October. It is held at the BC/YC and Swan & Dolphin....Its going on the same week as the Food & Wine Festival as well. I'll be tagging along with my hubby who is attending; so it will be interesting to see how crowded the parks are.....I know the attendees are in the conferences all day, but the families ie...me and my kids are in the parks...
