Hi everyone! This will be my first F&W Festival GF/CF. Anyone had any first hand experience with this? I got back a pretty generic email from Special Diets saying:

At the Epcot Food and Wine Festival, the food items are prepared in a very small kitchen and there is a high chance for cross-contamination of the food products at the kiosks. Please speak to a chef or manager at the kiosks and they will be happy to help you. We do know that last year (2009), there were gluten-free items at Australia, USA, India, Poland, Spain, Argentina, Desserts/Champagne, Chile, Canada, Ireland and New Zealand.

I'd love to hear others tips if they have them.I'd really like to be able to eat a few things, if I can! :thumbsup2

I would talk to the chef manager or the cooks making the food. Because some food made in the booth so if they can they can make a special for you. But with the food made in their specIl events kitchen are spittle harder because there already made and it hard to make special orders but always ask because you never know what they can do. Try not asking the ones in the red shirts due to them being seanol help and might not know about products so just ask for a manger or chef. Their chefs walking around the show case checking so you could stop them and talk to them most of them like to talk about there food so don't be afford to stop one and talk they will let you know what can be done. You will be able to tell if they are a chef or manger because they all carry a blackberry phone and a radio so just look for the black berry and you know you have a chef or some one in charge in their culinary department.
