F&W festival on a Friday afternoon?

For my upcoming trip, I was planning to go to Epcot on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. But then I got thinking (Oh, oh!)-maybe Fridays get busy in Epcot. Perhaps many locals get out of work early, or take Friday off so they can go. Perhaps I should consider switching my Friday and Thursday plans and hit Epcot on Thursday, elsewhere on Friday. What do you think? Experiences on Friday?

Friday nights can get a bit busy for the Festival but it's not that bad. Personally, when it's Festival time, I just plan every night at Epcot for dinner and a walk around World Showcase. And, you will have had two other days there by the time Friday rolls around so you can decide when you wake up Thursday what you want to do.

Friday night and the weekends tend to be a crowded time and often heavy drinkers/drunks to watch out for.

I have been to Disney World for the Festival five different times. I have seen ONE person who should have left the park.

I have been there many times and 2 times I was one guy escorted out drunk and another time a woman handcuffed becuase she was drunk and violent . They both and their group were removed by a side gate.
Any many reports by posters that was drunks weaving, falling down, throwing up in the bushs.

As I stated, Friday and the weekends are a problem in F and W and Disney reported they were looking to keep better control r his year.
