I know there is a thread started that is accumulating who is going to which special events. But I'm trying to plan our trip and looking for some input from other F&W visitors regarding the rest of their plans.... We can only go for 4 nights, and we want to to hit some of the "special" events, so we're definitely going to be in Epcot at least part of the day on Fri, Sat and Sun.... Trying to decide if we should do MNSSHP on one of our nights or save our money for the Tequila Tasting.... Whether I can fit in some drops and rides on the ToT and RnRC.....whether it's even worth it to trek to AK just to ride EE on this trip... We've been to WDW during F&W but never really went to the seminars or the lunches which we are doing this time so I want to be sure to have enough time planned just to enjoy Epcot! We were just at WDW in April, so I don't mind skipping much of the rest of the world.

So - share your plans!

When are you going and for how long?
Are you doing any of the special F&W events?
Are you going to any other parks or just sticking around Epcot?
Are you planning any other sit-down meals or are you mostly doing F&W stuff?

TIA for your input and I'm excited to see what everyone's F&W plans are! :thumbsup2

We will be there for 7 days in October. We plan to spend a few days exclusively in Epcot. We are thinking of doing the illuminations dessert party one night. Also, a couple years ago, we did a Sweet Sunday and that was WONDERFUL. Other than that we plan to sample at lots of the kiosks and catch some eat to the beat concerts.

We are going for the 1st three days of the F&W as we are there from S25-O3. We are spending the last three days O1-3 at Epcot. We never do the special meals except for Sweet Sundays (which we have for O3) but book ADRs at locations in Epcot. Otherwise we are tooling around the World Shocase and in the Festival Welcome Center for the lesser cost Wine and Food Seminars.

DGF and I are going for 4 days this year (our longest, it's usually only 2-3)

First day is Wed Oct 13 which is also extra magic hours at Epcot that night, La Cava del Tequila here we come at 9pm :)

Our main thing on the first day is to have at least one food item at every kiosk and take a picture of it..

Not doing any Special Festival Experiences, nothing is really happening on our dates, will do the daily Seminars & Demonstrations those are always fun

2nd day Thurs, will be lounging around the resort (Beach Club or Yacht Club) then it's off to the Poly and 5pm dinner ressi at 'Ohana, after dinner monorail to MK and watch the fireworks

3rd day Fri, is still up in the air with no plans at all, but staying so close (boat ride away) to DHS I can say we will go over and ride TOT & RnRC multiple times, 7 rides in one day is our personal record for TOT, same record for Expedition Everest in one day <3 those rides

4th day Sat, friends are driving up from South FL to do F&W with us, we are going to walk around "themed" ya know, all of us with matching clothes and hats

Sunday is Downtown Disney for lunch then the 3 hour drive home :( bye Mickey

As far as Sit-Down meals go, the only reservation I have right now is for 'Ohana , during the week it won't be bad for certain sit down meals if you avoid Le Cellier Steakhouse or Coral Reef Restaurant and hey' if we can't get in any restaurants we can always eat at the F&W

Enjoy your trip

We are planning on two days because we have a few places we want to hit. We are also planning on dinner at one of the TS in Epcot soooo.....

We have not done any of the special events in the past. By the time we decide what we want to do things are selling out....

The one way we will be at Epcot one day and then the other day we are going to AK ( which then closes at 5p ) and then heading over to the F & W fest.

We are going to a sit down ( Teppan Edo ) the day we do the F & W fest and out full day at Epcot.

This is my 5th trip during F&W. I go Columbus Day weekend because the schools are closed in Ma. on that Monday, and I can add a personal day (or two :goodvibes).
We arrive early on Friday, 10/8, check in and lunch at Brown Derby. MNSSHP that night.
Sat. a.m. we'll go to AK and eat a REALLY light lunch. PFTS Sat. night:cool1:
Sun. a.m. just so we can ride Toy Story Mania:upsidedow, then maybe to Epcot for a few booths. Sunday p.m. California Grill for dinner and over to MK afterwards
Mon- Epcot- Futureworld at opening, then counterclockwise around WS for the booths
Tues. Epcot- Futureworld and Festival Center, then clockwise around WS for the booths.....then roll ourselves to MCO for the flight home-thank goodness they'll only be weighing our bags and not us!
