For those that have been to F&W this year - for the wine seminars and cooking demonstration - how early have you had to arrive - and how long to they usually last. I'm trying to start planning for our trip to the last 5 days of f&w and we have a couple wine pairing scheduled and I want to see what else we can fit it, all the while trying to keep DD(9) entertained! Please let me know how much busier it might be on weekends.

This was my experience but I hope a F&W veteran will come along to help. I saw 2 demonstrations, the first one I just walked up as they were letting people in and it was about half full. The second demonstration was given by a very popular chef and there was already a long line when I got there (about 20 minutes before). I think they usually last 30 minutes.

I guess in my (very uneducated) opinion I would get there 15 minutes before. They will still let you in if the tables are full but you won't get a sample. I thought the demonstations were fun and a break from the crowds. I hope you have a great time :D
