Ezy-shuttle - a question about our experience!

We used Ezy-shuttle on our recent trip, our experience from the airport to DLRP was great, a French woman picked us up and was wonderful. But on the way back we were picked up by a French guy - he was lovely, very helpful etc. but he only had a booster seat with him, when we had requested a car seat for a small 3 year old, and was totally inadequate for our daughter. Also, I thought we were paying 70e for a private shuttle, but he stopped at another hotel and picked another couple up, although it was no real hardship as they were at the same terminal as us. Maybe I mis-understood and it wasn't a private shuttle?

Has anyone else had similar experiences? Not sure if we will book them again in August or not, although our collection and trip to DLRP was brilliant!

Thanks!

I thought Ezy-shuttle only did private shuttles :confused3

If you paid for a private shuttle you should have got one as it's always dearer than sharing.

Plus the booster/car seat is a bit off

You could always send a mail off to the owner as he might be interested in what his drivers are doing :)

eta - just checked their site and they only do private shuttles @ 70€ per vehicle

CDG - Disney private transfer from 70 euro each way per vehicle, upto 6 passengers. €80 for upto 8 passengers. (10 euro per person!)

I find this quite odd as well. Used Ezy before no problems at all - private shuttle (but to be fair, there were a few of us so no room for anyone else).

I didn't think they even did shared shuttles like Carrie says :confused3. I wonder if John even knew about it if you get my drift ;)?

As for the seat, that is not on. Having said that, our first trip RS Transports (or was it BS?) turned up for our return journey with no seat at all for the baby who was 6 months at the time :scared1:. Nightmare that was!

As Carrie suggests, drop John an email politely asking the question about the last trip. He answers all the emails normally (think he does it remotely).

Thanks. I think I will drop him an email and just say we were thinking of booking again for August but would just like to confirm that the 70e is for a private shuttle and that we would get a proper child seat this time... and see what he says!

I would query what happened last time ..... just in case he is unaware of things .....

I will. It may just be that something had happened and a bus couldn't get to the other hotel, so they doubled up - he didn't speak much so I assumed his English wasn't great, and he couldn't explain iykiwm? But he definitely took our full payment and full payment from the other couple!

I'd have just paid half. Ezyshuttle are a private service and you shouldn't be expected to share. They seem to be very popular now and as a consequence they can't keep up with demand. I've read that he passes on fares to other companies that he trusts but in this case it sounds like they've taken advantage of you and probably him.

If there was an honest problem and they had to squeeze you both in, they should have split the fare between you.

I've heard that too but I thought that he dealt with it like he did for Thorsten by giving him details of Tio shuttle and Thorsten then reserving with them.

I didn't think he still made a booking and then subcontracted the fares out :confused3

I'd be suggesting that if he wants your booking for your August trip, he gives you a discount to take into account the fact that you had to share last time.

hi could u let us know when he gets back to u. we arrive on Monday and have him booked, im hoping this is just a 1 off a heard lots of good reviews. Im slightly worried about not having the correct car seat!
