Ok wenches lets try this again- I went back to the original site and saved it again-- as a gif file! (the tech board told me to do it this way ) I am pretty much a dummy when it come to some things- I need to be instructed on how to do them! (OT- the Capt is so very good at that!)

Can you see him moving?? (I previewed my post and I can see him moving )

If not- I will just post the page from the site that I got it from- it is WAY too yummy to ignore!

Ok.....WHY ARE YOU TORTURING ME???????? I NEED to see this picture now. I tried to save it to my computer like Alicia said she did and it still dosen't work for me. BTW I also now have stolen the drooling smiley from you (PIRATE). Now i saved that to my computer and when I bring it up in photobucket, I can see it moving....drooling....whatever! WHY CAN"T I SEE THE CAPTAIN????? It's driving me crazy. That mixed with the fact that I just learned my DD10 needs a fronectomy, some sort of jaw seperating appliance, followed by braces this morning(That's the bad news, the good news is our insurance will cover all but $1,000 of the whole thing). Please, Please, Please, get this thing to work.

BTW, wenches, do you all know about the POTCMC contest? The grand prize winner gets a "pirate likeness" of themselves put into POTC ride(I think at Disneyland). I wonder if you get to pick where you go and with whom you go? If so, and I win, it's me & Captain Jack, in the jail cell

i just realized that's what happening. I tried to save all the other "moving" things on here (smiley's, pics) and they all give me the option of .gif & .bmp except for the ONE THING ON THE PAGE THAT I MOST WANT TO SEE . . Darn you computer, why do you stand in the way of my visual happiness?

Thanks, I can use the rum, and I can ALWAYS use the Captain. DD10 is actually looking forward to getting all this done. I picture her all grown up like Bill Murray in Little Shop of Horrors . No, but seriously she wants the braces and they've told her the fronectomy & jaw thing are almost painless.

ETA: just looking at the pic you posted, looks like the Captain's had his share of dental issues. Maybe I should ask them to give her gold teeth while they're at it.

I used to try saving moving pics by right clicking and just "saving as"- but they would save as bitmaps and not move- tech board explained to me that when I right click it is saving only that -one- frame of the moving pic- it needs to be saved as a gif- I figured out if I Right click and e-mail the pic to myself- it comes over as a gif- I THEN save it from my e-mail- put it in my pics and them dump it into my photobucket where it SHOULD move. My evil banana and smileys move by doing that but THEEEEEE most important pic does not!

Oh yeah!!!! I like some of the others too. The file are too big to use them as avatars on here, and I already am over the sig pic limit (shhhhh). I may replace my eagles poster with one of them. The Eagles suck right now anyway right?

I'm just stopping by real quick to let you all know I'm back. I had a great time and will be back later with some pictures. I just spent the last hour catching up and I really have a lot of work to do. So I can't stay long.

But I did want to tell you on that Disney Be a Pirate contest, you can enter every day. I've got a pop up on my calendar so I don't forget.

Now for a question. I've ridden Pirates at both WDW and DL so I know the pre-Captain Jack differences. I just haven't been back to WDW since the rehab. But Tara's comment about the Captain and the jail cell had me wondering. On the WDW version, where did they add the Captain?

Hey welcome back.....he's not in the jail cell at WDW...that's just my wishful thinking. I can't even remember where he is...there's like two or three places where he's added into the scene with other pirates and then at the end he's all alone with a bunch of treasure. that's so sad...I just rode this 2 weeks ago.
