Well I would have to say he looks pretty broken up about it!

This pic and another one from the same scene, i think. They just don't look like the Capt to me. It may be the extra light or something, but there is something about the eyes and nose that just doesn't look right??like one second his face is round and the next long. Like look at this pic and BlueBerry's avatar..does that really look like the same guy?

If you watch POTC 1 with the commentary by Johnny & director Gore V. Johnny mentions this was the very first scene they shot, and he hadn't "added" all the eye liner yet. It's fun to listen to some of his comments.

There is no doubt in my mind that this is the Capt- the ONLY reason I say that is- I took this pic from a succession of clips. He does look a bit ...."bloated" or "puffy" maybe it the salt air?!

There have been some that I've wondered about. But honestly, any that we've posted here are so darn good that if it's not the real Captain, I'm not going to complain! And I honestly don't believe that they would use a double in any of the close shots, especially when he has dialogue.

I had to stop by and let you wenches know what a bad influence you have been on me. I was just on a conference call and one person showed up who everyone thought was off today. I made some comment about he should have just stayed home and had some RUM since no one expected him at work. My, my, that started a big controversy...why would anyone be drinking rum and it's still morning.

Geez, I had to drop in and have some RUM with all of you since no one else understands.

Sounds like your INNER PIRATE was showing today too Got2Travel...hopefully the controversy will die down over the weekend. It is so hard being a Pirate Wench in today's modern world..and keep it hidden...
