Curiosity got the best of me and I did some searching, can't wait to see Sundays episode!! I loved the one from a couple of weeks back with the Alaskan family but I missed the end of it. DH said it was a great ending and the house was amazing (aren't they all!!).

This family is so deserving also - well when all is said and done, you have to say DCL has a heart of gold with a very giving and thoughtful staff teams. They make this world a better place by doing all that they do for so many and believe me there should be an episode of all of those that "work behind the scenes". I can only attest to what I have witnessed and that is just a very small part.

Good to know! Sunday is our "family TV night". DH the kids and I watch Funny Home Videos and Extreme Home Makeover...they love the show! I will have to try and keep the DCL link a secret until then!

We were told during our August 19th cruise, that an Extreme Makeover: Home Edition family would be on the August 26th sailing of the Magic. Looks like I'll have our VCR taping on Sunday night.

Actually there was a family on the Wonder on the Aug 20th cruise. We saw them many times and my niece was near by when they got one of their messages from Ty. We had to sign a release form since they were taping on board. We were told that it would air in October.

Oh OK, maybe the person who told me they were going to be on the August 26th Magic cruise, meant the August 20th Wonder cruise.

Oh well, whichever ship they were on, I'm sure they had a very nice time!!!

From what I saw (and I wasn't looking for them - tyring to let them have their vacation without alot of people staring but you're still in a confined area), it looked like they were having a good time. Although I would think having the cameras around all the time could be stressful. They were all just sitting on the dock at Castaway Cay - I think waiting for a vehicle to get them to the beach - and it was kind of hot.

I will definately tune in. DH knows this is my 'chick flick' night where I generally watch Ty and Co. and bawl my eyes out. He can look into the TV room when he is on the computer and whenever he sees me dabbing my eyes he gives the old 'women' look. I figure a good cry is theraputic

Good morning,
This family is from North Dakota and one of their children has had many challenges, but I love the family's positive outlook on life - I do not know much about the family,
but I do admire DCL's ability to give this family a place to go for even a little while when cares seem like second place. When all is said and done, I do applaud DCL's staff for all they do for so many.
