Extreme frustration attempting to post on this site.

Now happening on Chrome mobile (iOS) for me, in the runDisney forum. Keeps popping out as i type.

Now I'm occasionally getting full screen ads on mobile that I can't click out of at all. Sometimes with a vid, sometimes blank. No X to be found, have to refresh the page and hope it doesn't happen again. I've never seen anything like this.

Last few days I am having the issue again with the original post here. Typing a reply and cursor goes away and I have reset to continue typing. Super frustrating

Yeah, it went away for a while, but I've noticed it too - not quite as bad though.

Today is back to having the issue consistently again. Cant type replies without losing my cursor. Also cant like posts until I refresh the page.

Have also had the problem of cursor disappearing or it shows up in white so it is nearly impossible to see. It seems to work OK when I first type a reply, but if I go back to fix a typo in the 'edit' mode is when it tends to happen.........if that helps at all with trying to determine the cause.

It took an annoyingly long time to type this response with the cursor issues. I was trying to reply to something else, and I just gave up. The DIS has been such a great place to read but now replies are happening less and less because of this is issue (and the crazy ads you have to click through on each page!). My time here is getting less and less.

Was happening to me yesterday again as well. Very frustrating.

Brutal right now, every few seconds I lose the cursor.

This makes posting on the site wildly unusable. It happens every time one of the million moving ads refreshes and either changes or replays. It has happened 3 4 times to me while posting this short post.

Yep ads are much worse today, now stuck in front of the page and cant be moved. Ive never had that happen before.

Another thread some just said this. "If you disable JavaScript for the Dis website the ads are no longer a problem." I am not techy so no idea if this works or how to do it. But I figured Id share with you just in case you hadn't done that yet.

Having this same problem! I just tried disabling javascript but it's still happening.

I just added an ad-free upgrade option.

You will find it under your user profile. Both monthly and annual plans are available.

In April, I will add an ad-blocker detector. If you use an ad blocker, you will see the option to disable it or upgrade.
