extreme couponing show

I just watched this show. I didnt realize it was called extreme. A lady bought grocery total was $600+ after coupons ended up paying $2.00+

I'm watching thinking wow this is great until i realized all the food they have stocked up in their house. Then it no longer made sense to have so many items with expiration dates. Like the lady bought i think 20 jars of pasta sauce etc but then i click on the name of the show and see extreme-lol!

As we are watching dh goes through the paper and gets the coupons-lol!

anyone have tips? I told him we need to get a coupon organizer but use coupons for stuff we not and not extreme

Yeah-to me that show could have been called "Organized Hoarders". I'm sorry but stocking up on enough toilet paper to last 40 years and over 1000 bottles of shower gel is far beyond being budget-minded.

Sorry-I don't have any good tips, just wanted to comment on the show.

DH and I just watched that show too! And then I sent him to the store and he's like, "What, only 3 coupons???" LOL I did think it was neat that the last guy donates a lot of his food to a soup kitchen. But yes, some of them had way more deodorant and toothpaste than they will ever use in a lifetime. What's the point? I would simply stop shopping for months if I had that kind of a stockpile!

yes I hope they donate some of the stuff otherwise some thing expire.

I want to save some money using coupons but only on things we need or will use. I cant imagine having a bunch of stuff just cuz its free or cheap.

Right now I'm working a little here and there decluttering-lol!

one thing is the african American lady and one other couponer said they were debtfree which is cool!
