Extras for booking through Disney....

They list all sorts of extras when you book through Disney (such as water activities, gift cert at planet hollywood etc. and now also a gift card - even in August, perferred fireworks viewing etc.). Do you only get these if you book through Disney or do you still get it when you book a complete package through Virgin?

I thought it was a perk for booking direct with Disney but hopefully someone will post who has booked thru Virgin.
Only thing we used from it last year was the arcade card, probably won't even use that again, very poor arcade at OKW.

I think it is only if you book direct.

We've never had it with a Virgin package, did get it last year as we booked our last minute trip in October with Disney and flights with BA.

To be honest we only used two of the perks. Planet Hollywood voucher was for $15 I think off a meal and we didn't go over there. Sea Raycers was also a discount if you bought an hour you got an extra 30 minutes free. Didn't use the preferred standing for MK but did use the one for EPCOT which was fantastic on a very busy Food and Wine evening we walked straight onto the dock at Morocco. Went first half an hour as advised before show, they then said we were one of only two families who had pre-booked for that night so we could wander some more and come back five minutes in advance.

The true freebie was the arcade card. My DS has always been banned from the arcade at WDW - plenty other things to do - he obviously did the decent thing and used his free card though. LOL.

Don't think the arcade card is included this year. SSR's arcade was'nt up to much either.
We used the illuminations viewing spot, it was quite good, uncrowded. I thought it was just with Disney bookings.
